@RaeHoffmanJager Also, with my first baby at 4 weeks very good friends of ours came and stayed with us, which I was grateful for cause I had postpartum blues due to purple crying. It was a relief to have someone else there to take the baby while I tried to regain some sanity 😵‍💫

@RaeHoffmanJager I told people not to come to the hospital both times - it's just too crazy and exhausting. After we were home after like a week or two, some close friends and family came for short visits. That was nice. Overall, everyone was very respectful of our wishes - we were lucky.
