Will you stop making excuses for Braverman and Jenrick.
You keep repeating the line they resigned when they were stopped from introducing firmer immigration policies.
Jenrick and Braverman both stood as Tories in 2024.
They both tried to get Sunak re-elected.
And they both introduced the Streamlined Asylum Processing (SAP) scheme.
A scheme that completely skipped the face-to-face interviews with migrants.
Instead, migrants were just sent a 10-page written form to fill out.
If they looked good on paper - they were in!

I think I would have to move if that Gob ever became London mayor.
Does she ever stop talking over everyone.

Braverman wants to scrap the entire Equality Act and the Public Sector Equality Duty.
But Kemi Badenoch’s approach is much smarter - and actually protects everyone.
Here is why Badenoch is right..
"Positive Discrimination" is already 100% ILLEGAL
The law already bans hiring or promoting someone just because of their race or gender.
If a police force hires a less qualified candidate over a more qualified white man, they are breaking the law.
Check the official https://t.co/WBN7rWJ5lV Positive Action Workplace Guidance which states “positive discrimination is unlawful in Great Britain.”
Badenoch supports enforcing this strictly.
“Positive Action” is about a wider applicant pool, not lower standards.
The roles mentioned in the West Yorkshire Police letter focus on outreach, mentoring, and encouraging more people to apply.
But once candidates enter the recruitment process, everyone must pass the exact same merit-based tests.
As detailed by the University of Cambridge Equality Guidance, every applicant must be considered on individual merit and based strictly on selection criteria. No shortcuts.
Scrapping the Act leaves white men unprotected
The Equality Act protects everyone equally regardless of race or sex.
According to the statutory https://t.co/WBN7rWJ5lV Protected Characteristics List, “sex” and “race” protect all citizens.
If you repeal the entire Act, you strip away the legal rights of white men to sue for genuine discrimination or unfair treatment in workplace disputes.
Fix the management, don't trash the law.
If a local police force mismanages its budget or misapplies the law, that is an operational failure by police chiefs.
This is why Badenoch argues to reform the Public Sector Equality Duty - to stop bureaucratic overreach while keeping the core legal shield that protects everyone.
The solution is tighter guidance, not tearing down the entire legal framework.
Badenoch wants to cut bureaucratic box-ticking while keeping core legal protections alive.
Reform’s plan throws the baby out with the bathwater.
We need more long form interviews with Kemi. The more you see her and let her just talk rather than quick clips for a news bulletin the more you understand her and what she's about. And I like it. Let her paint her vision.
Today I have met Lucy, Mark and Katie, Henry Nowak’s mother, father and stepmother. Their courage is extraordinary.
They have endured the most appalling loss, it is a life sentence for them.
They have also faced the agonising decision to release the harrowing body-worn camera footage, knowing how painful it would be and how strongly people would react. They did so because they want truth, accountability and change.
They have asked that we work across political parties and religions to rebuild trust in the police. That trust has been broken because of what happened, and I agree with them on that.
We must also be prepared to examine, carefully and seriously, religious practices or exemptions that permit the carrying of dangerous weapons in public, and other activities that are not conducive to the public good. We also need to examine where the law needs to change.
Henry’s family do not want anger to tear communities apart. They are a family who have friends across faith and race, and so did Henry. His family want his memory to help bring our society together.
Everyone knows I have strong views about how we should deal with equality under the law. What the family agreed with me on is that we need to bring common sense back, and that is what we should all be fighting for.
I promised the family that we will work to ensure there is a positive legacy for Henry out of this tragedy.
That is my focus now.
It’s appalling to see people like Jenrick & Braverman - both of whom are intelligent and know Kemi very well- actively lying about what Kemi said.
They know she has been rock solid on identity politics forever. They have seen the full quote from which this nonsense has been extracted and warped. They know this attack is based on something that is not only wrong, it is the opposite of the truth.
They insult their members, who they presumably think aren’t capable of spotting the obvious lie. And they position Reform as just another grubby grasping lying political entity.
They should retract and apologise
@joe022020@sealy77 Kemi does not react in the slightest to the slander Reform dish out …..she sensibly disregards them - chances are this infuriates Reform as they are keen for a reaction enabling ongoing squabbling..
This is a ridiculous misrepresentation.
Badenoch didn't create the Hampshire Police plan
- operational police chiefs did.
In fact, Kemi has been the most vocal leader calling out this “pernicious identity politics” and demanding equality under the law.
Yusuf is attacking the one politician actually fighting to get race out of policing.
Badenoch has an established track record of opposing “woke” ideology.
Remember she famously commissioned the Sewell Report, which concluded the UK was not institutionally racist, she faced a huge backlash from the left for doing that.
The Independent 👇
“The Police Race Action Plan was drafted operationally by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC).
In the UK, politicians do not dictate day-to-day police training or operational guidelines”
Identity politics divides our country whoever is doing it.
The Conservative Party rejects it.
We believe in universalism and equality under the law. We must not treat people differently on the basis of skin colour. We have to build faith and trust in our institutions.
If there is one thing that should come from Henry’s death, it is that we make things better, so that this does not happen to any of our boys again.
That is what I am committed to.
I do not want his death to be in vain.
Let’s do this for Henry. Let’s get this right.
I’ve been a fan of @KemiBadenoch for years, and in recent weeks it’s become increasingly clear.
She’s the strongest Conservative leader since Margaret Thatcher.
Conviction, clarity, and fighting spirit.
We’d all be better off with her at the helm.
Rupert Lowe striking a more measured and dignified tone on this tragedy than Nigel Farage should make some of those associated with Reform stop and reflect.
Badenoch has Reform worried, doesn't she?
I say let them keep posting lies, don't react, don't lift their engagement, don't push their posts up the algorithm.
We British are not stupid, we will make our own minds up.
Reform really are descending into the gutter now. This is a total distortion of what Kemi Badenoch actually said. It’s another example of their increasingly desperate efforts to neutralise Restore.
Like I’ve been saying for a few days now, something isn’t right inside Reform. Their basic internal discipline is collapsing. Fighting amongst themselves. Putting out stupidly transparent and inflammatory attack ads. Mucking up the Makerfield selection. There’s an issue there.
