Almost the entire population of Gaza is acutely malnourished and many are on the brink of starvation.
History will not forget U.S. complicity in enabling this horrific humanitarian disaster.
Congress must end funding for the Netanyahu war machine NOW.
Just to be clear, the NYPD's massive presence on the subway didn't:
1. prevent a woman from being set on fire.
2. identify the person who did it.
3. didn't stop the fire. (note that video shows an NYPD officer walking by the woman while she is still moving)
Dems who work for AIPAC, Wall Street, health insurance executives, and Big Oil lobbyists, trying to find the “groups” that keep pushing the Dem Party to take unpopular positions.
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.

And they’re right.
Humans have engineered crops over centuries to do things that "nature" didn't design them to do...like feed people more affordably, reliably, and safely.
CNN tried to do a sympathy piece on IDF soldiers and then like halfway through the article you find out this guy was a D9 bulldozer driver who regularly drove over people while they were alive.
this first question: would you support a preemptive strike on Iran rather than how would you stop this regional war pretty much encapsulates what is wrong with US media coverage of this conflict
At every point Israel could have chosen to de-escalate, they did the opposite. At each of those points, other parties often tried to avoid being as proportionally violent — they actually pushed, urged the US to just step up and say Enough. The US never did. And here we are.
This is a huge scandal.
USAID & State Department refugee bureau both said Israel blocked aid to Gaza. But Blinken told Congress the opposite, so they wouldn't have to heed US law that'd force cutting off weapons to Israel.
As in, the Biden-Harris admin is complicit in war crimes.
New NYTimes euphemism for civilian just dropped. Half those killed were children or healthcare workers and the Times casually tells us “noncombatants were also drawn into the fray”. The word “civilian” isn’t in the article, naturally.

New Ayşenur Eygi family statement:
"Biden is still calling her killing an accident based only on the Israeli military’s story. This is not only insensitive & false, it is complicity in the Israeli military’s agenda to take Palestinian land & whitewash the killing of an American."
