Arne Slot, writing in today's ECHO: "I leave with complete confidence in what lies ahead. The players who have given so much to this club, who have upheld its values and helped create so many unforgettable moments, have built foundations that will endure." https://t.co/TOiTKKeIj3
Hearing first hand from Andy Robertson this week about the harrowing impact of Diogo Jota's death behind the scenes at Liverpool has made me re-evaluate a desperately poor season. Have we been too critical?

The Hillsborough Law is just about the best thing to happen to Britain in years. Hope everyone feels the same way when it reaches the House of Lords, a setting that will test whether the establishment really wants change. https://t.co/AKtTnvHkVh
@JoeRimmer88 All the best mate, you’ll be brilliant at whatever comes next. Can we have one final and definitive all-time tea power rankings before you bow out?
I hope Diaz smashes it at Bayern. For whatever flaws he might have, you can never accuse him of not giving his all for the club in every single match he played. I think the 2024 League Cup final epitomised that.
He's also the reason for one of my favourite Klopp quotes.
Jimmy McGovern has crafted many profound lines but this one, on why the British Establishment wants to neuter the Hillsborough Law, might be his finest: “What’s going on there is people are demanding the right to lie.”
“Our purpose and aim is about community, giving back and ultimately remembering everything Anne stood and fought for.” ❤️
All proceeds from the Anne Williams Memorial Golf Day will be donated to the Dan Kay Foundation, which aims to tackle stigma around mental health.
Liverpool FC have officially retired their No.20 shirt in honour of the late Diogo Jota.
Diogo wore the shirt with distinction across his five years and after his tragic death last week, the decision has been taken as a further mark of respect for the father-of-three.
4 years ago when my lad was at his lowest, Diogo took the time to record this for him and it helped more than he will ever know. It was a small task, but it meant to so much and I would have loved to have thanked for him personally for it. Thank you Diogo ❤️
I hope his children grow up to know their Dad was loved by literally millions of football fans across the world.
A champion with both his club and his country.
Rest in peace Diogo.
Beyond tragic news. A great person, player and someone who embraced us off the pitch.
This was on the morning of the final game. He asked to see his song, which I sent across after Jamie played it.
About to lift the league and he's buzzing off a load of kids singing about him💔
