Are you guilty of this? Blindly accepting a meeting invite without hesitation?
I would argue that most of us are.
Next thing you know, you're in the meeting and you don't even know why you're there in the first place!
Regain control of your calendar with this simple hack:
Before you accept that meeting invite - pause! 🤔
Contact the meeting organizer and ask the following:
- What's the agenda?
- Is there a critical decision to make?
- How can I support you and contribute to your success?
Use this to decide if it's worth your time to attend.
Doing these things consistently will make your meetings much more productive and your peers will thank you.

- Communicate any required pre-meeting reading or tasks.
- During the meeting, have a process in place to handle objections, stay on track and address hot topics.
