Exciting day for Alberta oil and our economy. Southbow has successfully completed its open season for its 550,000 barrel per day ‘Prairie Connector’ pipeline to the United States. This means thousands of great jobs for Albertans and Canadians for pipeline construction and the new oil production facilities and operations needed to fill it.
This investment was not possible 2 years ago under Trudeau’s and Guilbeault’s economic attacks on our province. But with the Alberta-Ottawa Energy Agreement in place and those 2 terrible laws and destructive politicians gone, we are on our way!
Just another sign that Alberta has turned the tide and our future is brighter than ever.
I call on the federal government to unequivocally support this project and provide any and all necessary permits when ultimately required.

When Saskatchewan people get the skills they need, our whole province grows stronger.
That’s why we’re investing in the Regina and Saskatoon Trades and Skills Centres — helping more people train for good-paying jobs and build their future right here at home.
So it turns out Carla Beck has held secret meetings with her federal leader she said she wouldn’t meet with.
You know, the guy who wants to shut down our energy industry.
Is that why her own NDP members are circulating a petition calling for her resignation?
Our province ranked #2 in Canada for wholesale trade growth year-over-year — another sign Saskatchewan’s economy is staying strong and growing.
We’ll keep backing the people, businesses, and industries driving that growth every day.
We’re removing restrictive language from 240+ outdated policies so nurses can safely work to their full scope.
Because letting health care workers do what they’re trained to do just makes sense.
We’ll keep taking practical steps to put patients first.

This National Nursing Week, I want to personally thank nurses across Saskatchewan.
So many families — including my own — have relied on your care in their most difficult moments.
On behalf of a grateful province and families right across Saskatchewan, thank you — for everything you do, and for the care you give each and every day.
Proud to welcome to workers and community leaders from Estevan and Coronach today.
From IBEW 2067 and the United Mine Workers to local mayors and councillors, these are the people who power our communities, understand our energy system firsthand, and have delivered energy security for generations in Saskatchewan.
We’re grateful for everything you do.
Announcing the largest annual Canadian mega-project.
It starts later than usual this year, but the work is already underway and ramping up.
No ribbon cutting. No headline.
Just Saskatchewan producers investing billions every spring to grow the food, fuel, and fertilizer the world relies on.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) has blasted the NDP for misrepresenting the cost of our government’s power generation plan and attacking their members.
“What we witnessed from the NDP was not responsible opposition, but a deliberate misrepresentation of costs intended to undermine confidence in Saskatchewan’s energy sector and the workers who depend on it.”
Surpassing surgical volumes for a second straight year reflects our government’s commitment to putting patients first and ensuring high-quality care is available in the right place at the right time. Thank you to our dedicated surgical teams for their incredible efforts in making this possible.
The province's GDP grew by 2.2 per cent to $85.4 billion, according to Statistics Canada, well above the national average of 1.6 per cent. Gains were helped by a 15.2 per cent rise in in crop production.

Today, we officially named the Hall of Valour at Saskatchewan’s Legislative Building—a place dedicated to honouring all who have served our nation in uniform.
The Hall’s origins are rooted in the extraordinary bravery of 15 Saskatchewan recipients of the Victoria Cross - the highest symbol of courage, sacrifice, and devotion to Canada and its people.
Their actions represent the very best of military service and form the foundation of this space.
The Hall of Valour stands as a tribute to every Saskatchewan resident who has served, in times of war and in times of peace.
Our province will always honour their service, their valour, and their commitment to keeping Canada strong and free.
Minister Marit has worked hard advocating for Saskatchewan producers to expand the eligible area for strychnine use.
This was absolutely necessary with the growing predator pressures that threaten livestock and livelihoods.
We heard from farmers and ranchers that expanding the eligible area for strychnine was necessary. This ensures producers have the right tool to manage Richardson’s ground squirrels. Thank you to the Federal Ministers of Agriculture and Health for making this change.
