@marviecoelho My first novel went 50+ queries with no full requests.
My second novel went 50+ queries and was about to get shelved when the final query lead to a full request. It ultimately got turned down, but after 100+ across 2 novels, all the struggle felt worth it.
@Desirae_Writes Also you’d be amazed what a bit of editing can do. My wife’s book went from 120k to 95k after a general edit and then a line edit.

@Desirae_Writes 60k is the general upper limit for MG but there’s no hard and fast rule. Take time away from the manuscript (for it and for you!) and when you come back with fresh, lighter eyes, you’ll find places to cut words.

We loved the reaction of #NUFC deaf fans and mascots who experienced the atmosphere of the game like never before. (1/2)
