I DID IT!!!😭🎓I’VE FINALLY GRADUATED & COLLECTED MY PhD IN EDUCATION: URBAN LEADERSHIP AT CGU… my FOURTH degree😭 the final infinity stone 💎✨
From leaving Zimbabwe, to learning English, to being told I wasn’t “good enough”, to walking through Oxford, Harvard and getting an honorary doctorate degree to now completing a PhD at 28 years old … wow. What a journey this has been. 🥹
My research focused on Black women’s experiences in higher education and how universities can better support and retain Black women students once they arrive.
I want to continue researching girls’ and women’s experiences globally and helping shape education policy that actually reflects and protects their voices, realities and futures.
I’m JUST getting started.
