@FBIDirectorKash That’s an opinion, not a fact. Several presidents, including Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, and Bush, enacted major law enforcement expansions and funding. There is no objective evidence that President Trump is the “single greatest proponent of law enforcement” in White House history.
@Jim_Jordan Lower crime is worth celebrating. Rewriting the timeline isn’t. The nationwide decline began before the current administration took office. FBI data show the broad drop started in 2023 and continued afterward. Good trends deserve facts, not campaign slogans.
Facts can be Googled.
@bennyjohnson 2. That’s not the behavior of a party coasting to victory. It’s the behavior of a party investing heavily because these races are competitive.
The story isn’t communism. The story is that one billionaire thinks Republicans need another $100M to help them hold onto key seats.
@bennyjohnson 1. Calling this a fight to “save America from communism” misses what’s actually happening.
America PAC is targeting the exact Senate battlegrounds where Republicans believe control of Congress could be won or lost.
@SenRickScott@CAgovernor And so you are saying that he has been operating under an enlarged ICE for the past year and a half ?
I would say you and the Trump administration own this. You have insisted that you were only getting the worst of the worst. I guess you missed one.
@SenRickScott@CAgovernor Or have ICE concentrate on the criminal aliens that the Feds have a detainer on and pick them up the day when the state’s incarceration is complete, instead of waiting for weeks or months.
It is an easy solution, but this is about headlines, not governing with you.
@SenRickScott@CAgovernor And the sexual assault is a state crime for which he will be tried on.
Senator Scott, if you want states to hold onto illegal criminals on an immigration detainer here is an idea - pay for the time they are to be incarcerated by the state after their sentence is completed.
@SenRickScott@CAgovernor A “sanctuary” city or state doesn’t override immigration law. It simply limits when local police or government agencies will help enforce federal immigration laws, such as honoring certain ICE detainers or resources. ICE still has full authority to enforce federal immigration law
@bennyjohnson 2. Reporting indicates his campaign did not answer some questions about the timing of his move, but unanswered questions are not the same as proof of an election-law violation.
@bennyjohnson 1. Reporting raises questions about when James Talarico established residency in House District 50 before his 2022 campaign, but there has been no public finding by a court or Texas election authority that he violated election law or was ineligible to run.
@RepBrandonGill History should unite us through facts, not divide us through ideology. Museums should present America’s triumphs and failures honestly, not use history as a vehicle for political activism. This EO is a step towards political activism.
@ScottBradyPA@FBIDirectorKash@FBI 1. If you take fraud seriously, when is the investigation of Trump going to begin?
Here are some starting points for you:
- Tariff Announcement Market Manipulation
* Securities fraud
* Wire fraud
@IMPERATORAUS@the_culturist_ 5. Sparta lost not merely a battle, but the economic foundation that supported its military system. Without the helots, Sparta rapidly declined from Greece’s dominant military power into a secondary state.
@IMPERATORAUS@the_culturist_ 4. The clearest proof of this came after the Battle of Leuctra in 371 BC. Spartas defeat allowed Messenia to break free, taking with it the helot population that had sustained the Spartan state for centuries.
@IMPERATORAUS@the_culturist_ 3. This also explains why much of Sparta’s military was focused on controlling an enslaved population that greatly outnumbered Spartan citizens. Fear of helot rebellion shaped Spartan policy, strategy, and even its willingness to campaign abroad.
