Karan was someone I looked up to when I started in the podcast section he created. He was so passionate about the form and I was so ready to see him go on to redefine it. It’s such a massive loss to journalism and the world.
Karan Nevatia was the life and soul of the Daily Trojan newsroom. He was larger than life and a child at heart with effervescent curiosity.
Karan died by suicide Sept. 11 at age 21. Two months after his passing, family and friends celebrate his legacy.
