I’m never gonna say this with more conviction then how I’m gonna say this right now…
Even if it’s just for this singular change, GAME FREAK HIRE YISUNO IMMEDIATELY.
This is the stuck-up Serperior I chose in BW.
I just watched 7 preview videos and read 3 interviews with the Pokémon Champions’ game producer.
So here are all the NEW points & questions I could pick out from creators and official info:
-No single player mode for now, just tutorials.
-PP amounts changed(Most significant PP change was Protect atm).
-Confirmed nerfs to older Pokemon(Incineroar appears to have lost Knock Off).
-A bunch of battle menu UI QOL changes and improvements.
-Some Battle animations are quicker and better looking. All battles seem to be made to move quicker.
-Dedicated run away button.
-Shiny Pokemon have a chance of being recruited.
-Some Multi-strike moves seem to hit both opponents at once.
-IV’s 99% confirmed maxed out/rendered insignificant.
-EV/Stat values have changed a bit.
-There might be other in-game ways to get VP outside of the main battles that they’ve shown?
-Mention of rental/replica teams by creators?👀
-Auto-team build Feature that will make a competitive team from your Pokémon.
And here is info that comes from machine translated interviews,so take this a bit more loosely:
-Only Mega Evo gimmick at launch but more are coming as they consider how to balance them. Tera was pushed back due to wanting to launch asap (insider info).
-A type of Spectator mode, but no recorder?
-Will never be play to win.
-Not exactly inspired by Pokemon stadium but is more of a Team Builder/Battle sim. (Battle Revolution?).
-No time limit on HOME visiting Pokemon, and they should transfer into Champs how we had set them up in their original games? But will we need to use VP to transfer them from HOME?
-This game was made to preserve Pokémon’s classic turn based battle experience as Pokemon games continue to evolve, like ZA’s battle system did.
-Also mainly made to get more new players to play competitive by making it easier to learn and set up Pokemon(teams).
-Pokémon champions will be operated for “a long time”or is meant to be a long term game, but they don’t know how Game Freak will implement it yet in the future.
-Game devs will listen to fans and make some future changes and updates.
-Devs took match-making into account(you should play against someone with a similar rank as you).
6v6 singles has NOT been mentioned by anyone so far so we still don’t know if that’s happening🤷🏼♂️
HERE IT IS! NEW and UPDATE BATTLE UI!
• Enemy Pokemon ARE CLOSER TO THE SCREEN NOW
• HP Bars are attached to the pokemon instead of filling the screen (Looks better for doubles or 1v10+)
• Battle Actions button design changed to be more square (Old design made sense for the old borders)
• Moves match the battle actions but also show the TYPING icons as well as color
• Hovering over a move when the enemy pokemon is registered in the pokedex will reveal above its HP Bar if the move is effective or now
• HP Bars visually reflect damage, they shake and flash and receive cracks depending on damage and then burst when HP drops to 0
• STAT Stages will show up as icons now to see in real time what the Pokemon are at so you can plan better
* If a pokemon levels up or is ready to evolve, there will be an on screen notification to tell you
It's not Pokemon but Elestrals Awakened is created by people who grew up loving the genre and want to make a game that captures that sense of adventure, filled to the brim with passion and love.
I'm teaming up with @Shadypenguinn to bring it all to life!

Junichi Masuda WAS BANNED FROM DIRECTING POKÉMON GAMES:
- Referred as "the era of Masuda’s absolute dominance"
- Masuda alone handled development planning, personnel decisions, public relations, and game design.
- Up through Black & White, it was an era where no one could oppose him.
- However, this led to a concentration of power and the organization began to run out of control.
- In personnel matters, "unnecessary people" and "favorites" emerged.
- The games’ content shifted from being focused on fun to being driven by PR.
- They could no longer do proper game design.
- Various problems arose, and during the development of X/Y, Masuda got into an argument with Sugimori, resulting in a decision that he would no longer be allowed to direct from then on.
