@_adenab And I guess for 1️⃣/2️⃣ - Chrome isn't "bad" enough for me where it seems like I needed a new browser. In some cases I've actually preferred it to alternatives, for ex the auto-translation for web pages was convenient when traveling abroad recently.
@_adenab I haven't used Arc for a few months now, but for 3️⃣ I think the main reason why it didn't stick for me was not having password and payment info imported and available across desktop and mobile.
@BrianFOConnor@pejkster This is a bad take - students have been able to get fast answers for a couple of decades now. ChatGPT is nowhere close to making hard skills irrelevant. If anything, AI makes critical thinking even more important since it increases the prevalence of "true-ish" answers.

🚨 Senate votes 65-33 to pass the most significant gun violence prevention bill in decades, marking a victory for the gun-safety movement and a rare defeat for the NRA on the Hill. The bill now goes to the House, which is expected to pass it. President Biden says he will sign it.
@GergelyOrosz This tool seems like it just provides code development metrics. Does interpreting the data still fall on the company? Meta has a tool similar to this - coding metrics are referred to during perf review, but it's usually viewed as one (small) piece of the overall picture.
@Ginscoe@nickylaurienzo Ah yea those cameos still impact the larger arc, but using them to increase the "value" of individual MCU movies is starting to feel like a cheap trick IMO
@PentagonPresSec Zelensky speaks to the nation. The gravity of the situation looks to have really gotten to him.
"Today I initiated a phone conversation with the president of the Russian Federation. The result was silence. Although it's the Donbas where there should be silence."
The people of Ukraine, who for 30 years worked to build a democracy and a nation out of the ruin of the Soviet Union, deserve so much better than this.
I’m going to back a few days in Discourse Time, and say something I think has been missed the Joe Rogan/Covid mess (I realize there are now other messes).
Once you’re here, all the answers are bad. They’re all bad because they all harm the thing you’re trying to protect: Trust.
