Part of the whole idea is that kids are "homeschooled" from age 0! Somehow they learn to walk and talk and exist in a family without a "teacher" π€―. Natural human curiosity keeps them learning without trying until at least age 10 or so, especially with parents who pay attention to what they need
@JohnDoeKnowsGuy@rossiadam If you studied it and controlled for this, you would issue a mea culpa -- even only among the rich educated population, you would see a difference
My writing goal -- with the audience of at least my kids -- is 10 days/month. Sometimes describing mundane recent events, sometimes trying to impart wisdom. When I read "550 acres" it feels like that is all the acres there are!
@ramit You know it's perfect when you completely mock them but they are laughing -- because they know how silly what they are saying sounds! Mindset is a big deal; it's more obvious to me the older I get and try to pass on any accrued "wisdom" to my young adult children
