@mickkb25@PassportIRL@belfastsinnfein My daughters issue date was 12th April, got to 18th May and they rejected it because witness didn't answer the phone, I had to send new documents and new issue date is 01/07. My husbands issue date was 3rd May, it was issued on 31st May. Applied for both first week of feb.
@PassportIRL do you know what this alert would be? I received my daughters documents in the post this morning but haven't had an email asking for anything else? New witness form was sent on Monday (from previous alert)
@laura_oface I got my documents back about 3 weeks before the passport arrived. But my husband and kids received their passports and still waiting on documents to be returned so seems different for everyone.
@PassportIRL please print my baby's passport today, it's our final chance to collect it before we're due to fly to see family tomorrow ๐ญ๐ญ almost a month past issue date 20037205986 ๐ค๐ค
@PassportIRL Thank you, can you also note that my son's witness is a community nurse which is why I provided a mobile number as she doesn't work in an office but if they wish to ring the office and confirm she works there the number is 02895988098. Thanks.
@PassportIRL I can't get through on the phone at all, been trying all week. Can you please add a note to my sons file that *if* it goes to print today/tomorrow we will collect it, need it for Saturday and don't have time to wait on post, 20037205986.
@ShaneLafferty We applied for my son's on 12th Feb so been waiting 14 weeks, over 3 months in the processing stage. We were supposed to fly this Saturday but won't be able to now. I phoned twice and gave them my travel date but made no difference
@arianestewart12 @markjlowe How long did you queue for? I'm trying to convince my husband to go down tomorrow but they'd need to hand him them at the office as we're supposed to fly on Saturday xx
@MichaelCarroth4@FrancescaWoodWT Our issue date for kids irish passports was 3rd May and haven't received them, we sent my husbands and daughters british passports for renewal via the normal service and had both back within 2 weeks, worth trying if you can't get emergency appointment.
@PassportIRL Hi, there are other people I know who have been able to travel to Dublin and collect their passports. I can't get through on the phone to let them know I'm willing to collect, really need it asap
@PassportIRL can I collect a passport from Dublin if I bring proof of flights? Applied for my children's first passports at the start of Feb and they're still 'processing' 3 weeks past issue date. Due to fly this Saturday.
@GerJ11 Sorry to jump in, how long were u waiting to hear back from the local TD? I'm from the North and had asked my local MP for help, he said today he's passed it on to TD for assistance. Due to fly on sat, wondering if I'll hear back in time!
@Bernard72054588 We applied first week of feb too for our kids, they are still processing haven't gone to print, due to fly this Sat 28th, looking unlikely. The one we got back at the weekend was applied for 3rd Jan.
@PassportIRL I got an email last week to say my daughter needed a new witness form because the witness provided wasn't contactable, I've asked the witness and there was no attempt to call them. Can someone tell me why this is?
