@mareberl @kirbyconrod Don't know of any specifically about D&D vs teaching, but there is quite a bit on gamification generally. I'm also slowly creating a D&Desque game for teaching patient communication in allied health. Lit review is underway, so if I see anything I'll fling it up here!

@bantam84 @AdamCSchembri @JWGrieve Though I always tell my students "if you think it needs a citation, give it one. If you aren't sure... give it one just in case. If you think it might not, give it one anyway". Better to over cite than under.

E.g. the uni I study at wants citations for every statement sentence, even continuations of the previous with same citation. Work the continuation sentence would be cited if it was from a new source or topic (within reason)

@bantam84 @JWGrieve @AdamCSchembri I'd say make it very clear the statement is reflection in text, but best if you can find a peer reviewed source that says the same thing. I study in the field I currently work in (TESOL) and work with students who often have experience in their essay topics, so it comes up a bit
