Our amazing #physicist Dr. Shada Wadi-Ramahi speaking to our experience optimizing work flow @UPMCHillmanCC#radonc on our @reflexionmed X1. Looking forward to our first SCINTIX treatment in the near future!
An incredible journey with an outstanding group of individuals - congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this new radiotherapy technology to the world, from conception to first patient treated! 🎉
"This first SCINTIX treatment is a watershed moment for physicians and patients alike because finally, we have a technology with the potential to meet the challenges of treating metastatic disease head on. Clinical literature and emerging practice guidelines are beginning to incorporate the importance of treating all visible disease in certain cancers. SCINTIX was conceived with that end in mind, and to work in combination with drug therapies to improve outcomes, especially for patients with advanced-stage cancers." – Todd Powell, President and CEO of RefleXion. https://t.co/z31JpggmPv
A milestone today: Patient treated with biology-guided radiotherapy via SCINTIX technology. Kudos to @StanfordRadOnc & @reflexionmed teams for their collaborative dedication and pioneering approach in integrating new technology for #cancer care!
Stoked that @lukevitzthum gave the very first conference presentation of the clinical trial data that supported the approval of SCINTIX in the US. Congratulations to Lucas and all his co-investigators on completing this critical study! #ESTRO23
Great presentation at #ESTRO23 today by @lukevitzthum from @StanfordRadOnc! This was the first presentation of BIOGUIDE-X: A First-in-Human Study of the Performance and Safety of Biology-Guided Radiotherapy.
Thanks for your enthusiasm @jamesbyu about SCINTIX. Buy in from med onc and nuc med is key to this technology that crosses disciplines. Look forward to working with you in the future.
@YaleRadOnc @cd_fuller @reflexionmed Wish I was there to see it. When I first started the conversation and effort to bring @reflexionmed to Yale, I was gratified by the buy in from Med onc and nuc med and pet center colleagues, from melanoma to gi to lung to Gu. Can’t wait to hear about scintix and read the papers!
It’s been quite the journey! -l am so proud to announce that BgRT is officially FDA cleared. Bringing to market a novel hybrid of a medical device and an injectable wouldn’t have occurred without a very special, pioneering and capable team - thanks and congrats to all involved!
"SCINTIX ushers in a new era of external-beam radiotherapy by harnessing data produced from the biologic process of cancer cells, which until now has been untapped,” said @TeWilliamsMD, chair of City of Hope’s Department of Radiation Oncology. https://t.co/Dnb0Gj8l52
We are thrilled to announce SCINTIX as our new brand name for our breakthrough biology-guided radiotherapy technology! SCINTIX is the first to utilize cancer itself to guide radiation delivery in real-time. https://t.co/zRbdwLSUOH

Day 2 of ASCO is underway! Stop by our booth #2037 to hear about how BgRT may enable medical oncologists to incorporate external beam radiotherapy into their treatment algorithms for metastatic patients.

Today, a team led by @TuDDan, M.D., and @BinCaiMedPhys, Ph.D., treated our first patient on the RefleXion system. The patient, part of a prospective registry, is undergoing PULSAR for liver metastases.
@reflexionmed@COH_RadOnc@SeanShirvaniMD Great "fireside" chat! Thanks for inviting me to be a part of the discussion and allowing me to offer my perspective on BgRT at the ASTRO meeting. Certainly lots of potential for BgRT in lung cancer and other disease sites!
