93 Tim Hortons locations are still hiring foreign workers right now!

Tim Hortons lied to you.

A couple of days ago, every regime media outlet in the country ran the same cheerful story: Tim Hortons, long notorious for importing cheap foreign labour, was turning over a new leaf. They were going to hire 10,000 “locals.”

What a turnaround. What a company. Pass the double-double!

I didn't buy it. So I went to the government's own temporary foreign worker website and did a quick search.

I was shocked to find 93 Tim Hortons locations are actively advertising for temporary foreign workers. Literally at the same time their spin doctors are claiming they’re hiring Canadians.

So I printed out the job postings, fired up our billboard truck, and headed to one of the foreign-staffed Tim Hortons to ask for the manager.

The Tim Hortons I went to was offering $36 an hour for a restaurant manager. Their government of Canada job listing claimed that no Canadian would do the job.

The Tim Hortons executive in the store told me he'd “never seen” the foreign worker ads before. Really? They're on the government TFW website. Anyone can look them up. I showed it to him live, on camera.

He should tell that to the father I met outside, whose 21-year-old son can't find work.

I spent nearly an hour out front talking to passersby. Not one person — not a single one — said Tim Hortons should keep hiring foreign workers over Canadians. And many of the people I spoke with were immigrants themselves.

It's only Tim Hortons that disagrees. (Tim Hortons, by the way, is not even a Canadian company anymore. It's owned by a Brazilian hedge fund called 3G Capital.)

Tim Hortons is lying about quitting cheap foreign labour. So we're going to drive that truck to the other locations still hiring foreign workers. It’s bad enough that they’re hiring foreigners instead of locals. It’s worse that they’re lying about it!

I've been doing this long enough to know that corporations only change behaviour when they feel it in the till.

After 4 years of disciplinary proceedings, Canada's longest and most corrupted disciplinary police hearing against Detective Helen Grus of the Ottawa Police Service has had it's final day. A decision will be delivered by a virtual announcement. All because a well trained police officer asked questions regarding a spike in infant deaths. She presenting factual evidence that contradicted the official narrative.
As a final blow (no pun intended) the prosecution's summary compared this officers actions to previous examples of officers receiving oral sex in police cars while working. They want us to believe she was selfish, misguided and used poor judgement.
Thankfully, her lawyer Bath-Sheba van den Burg closed with final submissions in a most appropriate and fitting mic drop verse:

After suffering the longest and most aggressively prosecuted mischief trial in Canadian history, Tamara Lich (@LichTamara) is now suing the police and Crown for malicious prosecution and negligent investigation.

She was found guilty of mischief for her role in the 2022 Freedom Convoy in Ottawa and given an 18-month conditional sentence including 100 hrs of community service and 12 months of house arrest, followed by 6 months of curfew.

A condition of her pretrial release was zero contact with other convoy organizers, although she had been granted permission to attend an award ceremony where other organizers would be, provided she was in the company of her lawyer (which she was).

Despite this, a photo was taken at the event of her with another convoy organizer which brought about an immediate Canada-wide warrant for breaching bail conditions. She was quickly arrested and transported back to Ottawa where she was held without bail until her trial.

Tamara Lich had no prior criminal history and consistently promoted peaceful assembly throughout the convoy protest; a fact acknowledged by the courts.

By pursuing maximum penalties against non-violent organizers like herself and Chris Barber, while typical mischief cases result in far less, authorities have effectively weaponized the justice system to chill dissent.

Compare this to countless recent reports of repeat violent offenders being released with a slap on the wrist and it’s easy to see that she was being made an example of.

“This isn’t just about me,” Lich stated. “It’s about stopping this kind of abuse so no Canadian ever faces it again.” Her lawsuit seeks to reaffirm that the Charter stands above all, protecting peaceful protest, fair process, and equal application of the rule of law.

Our Charter is not ambiguous on these matters. If we do not correct the actions of our government and judiciary now, and demand accountability, those willing will continue their efforts to suppress our rights and freedoms.
