Hey friends -You're invited to join us on Sat, 9/30, for the STL area Zero Prostate Cancer Run & Walk. Attend the event for free to show your support for the cause or make a contribution to support the work of Zero: https://t.co/qMBfKLaO3R. Thanks!
@Justice314Lady@stlrainbow How is this different? buildings have been stabilized 1st, often at specific request of neighbors; new roofs, tuckpointing, structural repairs, other improvements give purchasers a head-start on work required to make these places habitable; & the process: https://t.co/xM1PEBDjjH
@stlrainbow And, 8 other LRA buildings that have been stabilized through Prop NS are available for offers to purchase until noon on 8/10/21. Details at https://t.co/KsDClaNr2P
@jacobbarker Anyone interested in buying stabilized buildings to complete the rehab into quality housing, offers for the 5 buildings now available need to be submitted by noon on 5/11: https://t.co/xM1PEBDjjH. And many more to come.
@jacobbarker If any contractors are interested in bidding on upcoming Prop NS stabilization work, they can find details & link to register to get notifications of future opportunities here: https://t.co/kixJF1RAzd
@jacobbarker Thanks for covering this story, @jacobbarker. Great job with getting all the facts straight - and compliments to Christian Gooden @pd_shutterspeed for some great shots that captured the work being done.
@NEXTSTL Prop NS, as approved by the voters, does indeed explicitly restrict funds to LRA residential bldgs. This bldg was nominated for NS; the Stabilization Advisory Committee recommended against funding due to the severe deterioration beyond what NS funding limits can stabilize
If you live in or own property in the City of STL & want to do something about vacant buildings, you can submit your nominations for LRA-owned, residential buildings that need stabilization at https://t.co/uSnESSlijS
@stlunite@stlpublicradio Buildings eligible for stabilization through the Prop NS Program need to be: 1) Owned by LRA;
2) Residential use with no more than six units; 3) Available for purchase; & 4) In a condition that can be saved. The Sara Lou building is under option & is not available for purchase.
Congratulations Jessica Payne, Board President of @ONSLRG for much-deserved recognition from @CBNSTL! Tickets for the virtual awards celebration are still available: https://t.co/eN41lTRP5R
