I think I've done a lot of good things in my role as a CEO but recently telling applicants they can choose to send a PowerPoint or TikTok about themselves instead of a cover letter has created such amazing applications from such a diversity of humans ☺️

“Representation” is often discussed in terms of who is allowed to be at the table or whose voice is being heard. However, who — or which group — is consistently allowed to fail and bounce back is also a marker of equality, writes columnist @ShreeParadkar. https://t.co/qfjmZMkso4

We are sorry to hear of yet another case of a toxic work environment for BIPOC at a major museum. This is nothing new and why @seara_fund was founded - to organize for change in B.C. arts. We stand with Troy & former Indigenous Collections & Repatriation Head Lucy Bell.
Read @Skink00ts's thread on @RoyalBCMuseum's Indigenous collection and mistreatment of Indigenous staff. Bringing Indigenous cultural workers into deeply colonial institutions to manage & curate such collections is not a solution and perpetuates harm.
