Two things can be true. Good Good/Callaway screwed up big time - but as always when people (inevitably) screw up, we need to give people a chance to do better. Of course the words (an apology) come first, and always seem hollow no matter what is written, we have to give the chance for actions to speak louder over time. This thing we do where we all act like a mistake is a life sentence… It’s bad. We all make mistakes in life, and outside of a few, deserve a genuine chance for forgiveness and to do better. Further, Callaway/GG’s introduction of Good Good Girls has probably given lots of young girls/women something to watch and support that is relatable, and I think that even if it’s profit-driven decision making, that’s worth something to balance the scales. How about we remember that none of us are perfect, and it’s their future actions that can be the decider of whether or not they should be permanently affected?
