@NickWilsonSays Yea, those meaningless awards mean, well, nothing. He consistently makes bad choices. Sabrowski was done, pull him. He might be a player’s manager, but he surely doesn’t manage his players well.
@finkn23 This is where they really miss Colin Holderman. He was money for most of the year. I just can't trust Gaddis in high leverage spots and Sabrowski can be hit/miss.
They definitely need another high level arm in front of Cade for sure.
@KenCarman His bullpen decisions are atrocious. He had the nerve to say he wish he could’ve gotten a few more pitches out of Williams. Why couldn’t he? Was Sabrowski better than him breaking 100 would’ve been?
@mellow_nie91 So have Herrin pitch. Montgomery can only hit fastballs and Sabrowski was only able to command his fastball last night. He had thrown 5 straight fastballs. Montgomery was sitting dead red
@drjimcpa @RealDCunningham 1. Start the 6th with a reliever. Let them start a clean inning
2. Always have guys ready. Sabrowski should not have gave Braden.
3. Walk Meidroth with first base open to gave the strikeout king.
@HasReber @picsbyasf You said he could leave in Sabrowski.
You are seriously using 7 plate appearances in 2026 as a basis for manager decisions?!
Venable is such an idiot for using Taylor this series then given his 9.45 ERA and multiple blown saves vs Cleveland this season. 😂
@KenCarman After hearing what Albert Belle had to say, yea, some blame has to go to Vogt merely for the hitting staff he put together. Coaching in the Guardians case, and the decisions being made, do not help or elevate the team. Just yesterday alone, leaving Sabrowski in, leaving Bailey in
@mellow_nie91 Let the record show: Stephen Vogt lost this game letting Sabrowski pitch to Braden Montgomery. And The he compounded his error by not intentionally walking Meidroth who has killed us in order to face the strike out God, Colson Montgomery with the force out in play. BRAINDEAD
@MattB_WOF @picsbyasf Lmfao.
Vogt also could’ve just left Sabrowski in and walked Meidroth, which he should’ve done anyways to load the bases with first base open to face the strike out king Colson Montgomery. Vogt is completely lost
@KenCarman He should have taken out Sabrowski. He could have prevented the collapse yesterday.
I think Vogt should have let Gavin get himself out the 6th. I think he could have done it, at least better than Sabrowski.
@RealDCunningham He’d had traffic for a couple innings with a string of lefties in the middle of the order coming. Process over results. Sabrowski just has to pitch better.
Outside of changeups, which Herrin nor Sabrowski throw, sliders are what gave Braden the biggest issues. Sabrwoki has a plus slider and Herrin does not.
People are way over thinking this...
Williams I think the Guardians handled well, and it made sense to go to Sabrowski my issue is we know he is erratic and he was in the outing. Herrin with his pitch mix is a better matchup for Montgomery. Sabrowski throw 6 fastballs in a row leading up and including the AA
@JL_Baseball Sabrowski couldn’t throw strikes. 70% balls when Montgomery came up. I’m sure he was sitting fastball. SHOCKED Vogt left him out for a fourth batter.
@MattB_WOF @picsbyasf It’s not crazy. Vogt should have had multiple Guys warm and ready. The Sox are up 2-0 largely because they have a quick hook. Sabrowski didn’t have it today. You gotta pull him.
@KenCarman why do we have to reserve blame for 1 person in the org? can’t we blame multiple people? can’t I say Vogt should’ve a) pulled Gavin before the 6th inning and b) pulled Sabrowski after 3 batters while also acknowledging that the batters can’t hit and got shut down?
@HasReber @picsbyasf Pham was bad vs fastballs this year. Probably why Sabrowski threw him five and got weak contact out. Why Bailey called for a fastball to Braden tho... Oof
@mellow_nie91 What's crazy is White Soxs with a patched up pitching staff and Vogt has Tanner , Foster and Cantillo and 2 of those guys may not even see the field because he go with Sabrowski and unreliable lefties ! Analitycs has killed this team!
@MattB_WOF @picsbyasf What. Braden Montgomery cannot hit breaking balls. Tim Herrin was literally built to face Montgomery. Sabrowski had already thrown 6 straight fastballs. He could not throw a breaking ball for a strike.
I'd love to year why Sabrowski abandoned his slider after the Grinchuk AB...
First 5 pitches were sliders. Next 6 were all fastballs. Starting off Braden fastball there just seems...crazy
But maybe there's a reason...
