@GPatane13 @BoltsBreakdown @Klmorrison1972 Everyone knows it’s a business, stamkos wasn’t playing well enough in JBBs eyes for another contract. You might think that’s valid. But then don’t beg your next star to take a discount when you didn’t even offer it to the last guy.

@GPatane13 @BoltsBreakdown @Klmorrison1972 Everyone knows it’s not about the money. Kuch, despite everything he’s done for the organization, was disrespected, just like how stamkos was. Players see how JBB moves. Quick deals to some but not others, no care to bring back legends, they all see that.

@svechakgae @Boyd_1212 One thing I admire about the Preds is the leadership of the uncs. Young players getting mentorship from ROR, Josi, STAMKOS (one of the best of the best). That’s actually a gift. Maybe they just stick around a little longer to shape up the young bucks 🤷♀️

@ducks2007quack JBB looked right for that first year of Stamkos with Nashville and has been wrong ever since 😂😂
@SuitableAlias I saw some people defending JBB saying he was right about stamkos. Stamkos potted 40 goals and is over a PPG pace right now…on an 8m deal sounds like a steal to me! Not sure how JBB was “right”

For 1-2 million more in AAV they would've figured it out, Stamkos was adamant about getting a certain amount of real cash the first few years and JBB couldnt get the AAV to work within the cba so he pivoted to Guentzel.

@POOPYDOODIE11 @JArnholz @adater @Ken_Campbell27 @Kirshenblatt Yeah, just the idea that they couldn’t fit 8m AAV wasn’t accurate because he would have taken less, so your Guentzal vs Stamkos argument isn’t that cut and dry. It’s part of it, but they also tried to squeeze him.
