Men are struggling - agree that physical and hormonal changes affect women, but based on studies men struggle more with psychological issues see my review on the book 'Man Down'
I recently read Man Down, which is based on Matt Rudds own experiences as well as wider assessment on why men are struggling due to the traditional masculine ideal and the societal structures that contribute to widespread male unhappiness. In summary, the book ultimately suggests that happiness is found not in accumulating achievements or status, but in appreciating the small, present moments, exemplified by the "happiest man in Britain," who found contentment simply watching the shifting light on Loch Ness and spends his days with no need for success or doing in the traditional sense of the word.

5. We need systemic and cultural changes. The current system, supposedly created by men for men (in reference to the focus on bridging the gap between women and men think gender pay gap), isn't working for anyone. Systemic change is crucial, particularly concerning gender roles and work-life balance. Men must be facilitated in moving into the household role, just as women have been facilitated in moving into the workplace. Policy changes, like shared parental leave regardless of gender are highly beneficial as they increase father-child bonding, improve gender equity, and boost employee productivity. The shift forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, where men were forced to work flexibly and participate in family life, demonstrated that many "successful men" who previously claimed their jobs couldn't be done from home will now never return to working five days a week in the office.
