I work with Indian students all day, I spend the day unravalling fraudulent qualifications, fake visas, ponzi schemes, immigration companies ripping them off all the while they are working for the local Dominos for less than min wage! They come from a low trust society and are not compatible with our society. Uncappable visas will change NZ for ever.
"Five marae and surrounding buildings and $136 million. Are these toilets going to be gold-plated or something?" - Maree Buscke
Maree Buscke @MacBuscke questions why Māori managed retreat projects are receiving massive Crown funding packages while many other coastal communities facing similar risks are left paying the bill themselves.
Do you think all New Zealanders should be treated equally when it comes to climate adaptation funding - regardless of who owns the land?

Against his better judgement, @SimonRAnderson has invited me on SimonTV LIVE this Sunday from 7:30pm (streamed to his X account).
We'll discuss a wide range of policies affecting the future of the country.
If this is what Oranga Tamariki thinks drives meth use by Maori, then no wonder they are so bad at their job. Quick fact: meth use is not to 'cope with trauma, pain, exhaustion, or stress'. And 3x Maori women use it because of higher Maori involvement in gangs, who distribute it.
Drug users take methamphetamine, which is a long-lasting stimulant, because of the perceived desirable effects: increased energy and alertness, which also results in (perceived) better sexual performance. It also allows you to party harder, for much, much longer.
Prior to meths arrival, Ritalin was the sought-after stimulant drug for users. Once meth was in wide circulation, the number of Ritalin prosecutions that I saw as defence counsel plummeted to basically zero. Meth completely replaced it. And it is so much worse.
Meth has been made and distributed by a mixture of private individuals and gangs in the past. These days, most of the distribution is in the hands of the gangs. The gangs prey on the poor and on isolated young men for their membership, especially in areas that are already part of the gang culture. The newer, multi-national gangs are widening the ethnicity grouping in the offending stats beyond the present over-representation of Maori, but that will take time to show up. In the meantime, Maori are still naturally and unfortunately overrepresented in the stats because of their over-representation in the gangs.
None of this is due to colonisation. Much of it is due to the fact that, on meth, you can literally party for days.
The fact that OT is presenting this unmitigated hogwash as the reasons for meth use in NZ today, under a @nzfirst minister, in coalition government made of that party plus @NZNationalParty and @actparty says two things. Firstly, it says that OT is still stuck in a left-wing, critical race theory bubble that has not been addressed, and which means that the department is still not fit for purpose. It also says that, in almost three years, this government has achieved nothing in relation to changing the culture of the public service away from this sort of insanity.
The fact is that these theories are just plain wrong. All of the academic research says they are wrong. We know why people use drugs, and colonialism ain’t it! But if OT is using that as their basis for interventions in drug-using families, everything they do will fail, because their foundational principles are wrong. Do none of our elected politicians understand that?
Having this unacademic, ahistorical, evidence-blind sort of insanity embedded within the leadership of OT is a nightmare already happening. This government needs to win the next election simply to do the job that they have spent the last 2 ½ years not doing.
Good on Lindsay Mitchell for pursuing this issue.

More than a decade of TERFing & I am still waiting for a “progressive” feminist to explain to me how electing white men is fighting the patriarchy.

Students who never study Stalin, Mao, and the gulags have no framework to recognize totalitarianism. A curriculum built on shame is not history. It is indoctrination. The left just tried to strip her damehood for saying so. My conversation with the newly appointed Dame Elizabeth Rata, in collaboration with @NZFreeSpeech
You cannot recognise totalitarianism if you've never been taught its history. That is the warning at the heart of this conversation with Dame Elizabeth Rata. We were proud to support it. Don't take our word for it - listen and decide for yourself.

Josh is exactly correct here. I never thought I'd see a NZ government lie as blatantly as Ardern did about COVID. I was wrong. The level of pure, calculated, in your face, "Yeah we're lying to you. What are you are gonna do about it?" from @NZNationalParty is on a Baghdad Bob scale. They tried slip the Movement of People Annexe by unnoticed. When that didn't work, they tried Alice In Wonderland gaslighting- denying the plain meaning of the king's English that we can all read for ourselves. " Uncapped' means what we say it means, nothing more and nothing less". That didn't work either, so now they're straight up lying to our faces. My family held our noses and voted National last time. No more. #NoTicksBlue. I don't care if that lets Labour in. There's no material difference in the end result- rapid collapse or slow collapse. I'm voting @nzfirst and let the chips fall where they may.
The wonderful Dame Elizabeth Rata in conversation with Peter Boghossian. She's such an incredible thinker, it's always an education to listen to her. This conversation ended on a great note, about five minutes before the end, when she talked about her desire to reclaim the word 'woman'. We're with you all the way with that, Dame Elizabeth.
Over 100 studies show Ivermectin does in fact contain anti-cancer mechanisms across 12 types of cancer. It was known decades ago that anti-parasitic medications reduced cancer but was hidden from the pubic -new studies are bringing it back into the light. See comment below ⬇️
Shabana Mahmood has CONDEMNED the Henry Nowak protests in Southampton, saying those responsible will be arrested.
Meanwhile, here she is on a pro-Palestine protest which turned violent and forced a supermarket to close.
She has since deleted this video. Please don't RT it.
The $350m cost of the Waitangi Tribunal, just this past decade, includes their invoices for lawyers, consultants, koha, pōwhiris, flights, hotels, dining out, taxis, support staff, office rentals, special Maori advisors, plus more. It’s an industry. It’s a full on industry.
💥This has to be a World’s First.
Oncologist and Cancer researcher Dr. Wafik S. El-Deiry PhD enters into the official U.S. record former Japanese Official’s biopsy report.
After getting suspicious about messenger RNA tech, @weldeiry began researching and found “nearly 70 papers”, which formed the basis of a new peer reviewed paper published this year.
Then former Japanese Official Kazuhiro Haraguchi (@kharaguchi) contacted him, with a stunning report.
Haraguchi had sent his cancer biopsy to Kitasato University Research Institute in Tokyo.
The findings? (S) protein was present, but Nucleocapsid (N) protein was absent / not detected.... and he states he had never been infected with covid (natural infection would typically produce both S and N proteins).
Haraguchi presented this on February 18, 2025 at the Diet committee session and described it as preliminary lab work (not yet peer-reviewed).
It has now entered into U.S. Senate testimony.
One thing to consider when think about the cost of the OIA is how much money it saves!
Science funding was spent on a scheme to play whale songs to trees, with no assessment of whether doing so actually helped the trees.
We know this because of the OIA.

Australian Greens co-founder Drew Hutton has quit, declaring the party ‘beyond reform’ and doomed to vanish within a decade.
He blames its takeover by extreme gender ideology and identity politics, which have buried environmental priorities under radical activism.
The party he helped build is now unrecognisable.
