@BlackpoolFC I hope the players know that their pathetic, weak and utterly spineless performances are a disgrace to the badge. Worst team I’ve seen in my 40 years relative to expectation and investment and worst team in the league at the basics of the game. Pathetic
I think it’s time the players had some stick. The board, managers etc have had theirs. Now it’s time to ask them why they consistently chuck the towel in, why they can’t defend a set piece, why they consistently get outrun. Why they aren’t brave in possession etc. Not good enough
@seanmcsport I’ve been going for 40 years. I don’t think I’ve seen a worse team than this for capitulating and failing to do the basics of the game. You’re dead right, it’s easy at 2-0. They are so weak- there’s no fight or character or spirit. No coach stands a chance
The most spineless, pathetic, weak embarrassing bunch. Compared to expectation and investment, I reckon this is the worst team I’ve seen in my 40 years. We are the worst team in the league in terms of fight, spirit, desire etc. Pathetic
Systems & tactics become irrelevant when you can’t defend a set piece, you fold like a pack of cards and lose all the physical battles. We’re rubbish at the basics. Different managers, different shapes, same problems. When will the players take responsibility?
@BlackpoolFC Truly horrendous. We can’t do the basics of the game. We lose 50/50s and 2nd balls all the time, never stop a cross, can’t win a header, concede the same goal week after week.
@BlackpoolFC If that is considered a red card tackle then we’ve got a major problem! The Rotherham one was far more dangerous and out of control and his got rescinded!!! Ridiculous
I genuinely think @BlackpoolFC should request that Ed Duckworth is not allowed to ref our games again. He’s totally incompetent, regardless of the dubious Preston connections.
We have five copies of #FM26 up for grabs!
Like and share this post to be in with a chance of winning a copy in time for Christmas.

@StanCollymore Got out of jail. A performance that wasn’t really worthy of the result. We have so much improving to do. The low block is a nightmare to play against but we don’t stretch the play enough. The lack of chances created is a major worry. Hope we can hurt teams who play higher
@BlackpoolFC@SeasidersPolice Anyone south of Tebay on way to the game might want to find an alternative route. M6 between 41 and 42 at a standstill. #UTPM
Should have won that 3 or 4 but they could have nicked something at the end. Byers was the best player on the pitch by a mile. We’re still in it, just about!
Passive, weak, spineless, easy to play against. I can take being outplayed but not being outfought and outbattled. We are so poor away from home, it’s embarrassing. It’s getting worse, not better. That should have been 4 or 5 nil.
@OfficialPVFC why do you ask your stewards to ask for consent to search children when it’s a condition of entry? I questioned this and was threatened with not being allowed in. What a lovely welcome.
@dseddon2 He was a master at stopping the opposition when we were in the championship, though we perhaps could focus more on what we are doing, at this level. I hope he’ll learn from the last two games.
What really cost us- defensive subs, or giving a ball away sloppily and then a great strike? We were totally in control of the game. They hadn’t had a shot second half. Tactics, systems etc out of the window when players make basic errors. We’re making too many at the min.
@dseddon2 I think it will. Norburn is a clearly an even bigger miss than we thought. I’ll bet the defensive record is very different when plays. That said, I wouldn’t have picked TOB as his replacement these last 2 games. I love Critch but I agree that some selections are odd.
@dseddon2 Totally agree. It seems the improvement in the attacking play has coincided with us making sloppy mistakes and conceding goals. I’m hoping that the consistent performances aren’t far away. Easy to forget what a huge change we’ve had in personnel, management and style of play.
@dseddon2 Totally agree about being on the front foot and how teams can’t cope we play like that. Dembele has to play. I thought we were so in control of the game though and couldn’t see them scoring. We’re close to being a seriously good team, I reckon.
