Minha questão com Carrie é muito clara: Não tem problema em você retratar a personagem fisicamente diferente do livro, contanto que você mantenha o bullying e a falta de pertencimento/acolhimento que desencadeiam tudo. Adaptar é mudar.

☝️🧐 PORÉEEEEEEEEEM considerando que a caracterização original da Carrie faz parte de uma minoria pouco representada no cinema (pessoa gorda protagonista), acho que seria mais sensato você manter essa caracterização já que ela existe E AINDA faz parte dessa minoria pouco mostrada no audiovisual.
