The five time Australian Paralympian made his debut at Seoul 1988, and he reached the podium nine times. In tribute; his world record shot put throw from Atlanta 1996.

In this day and age it's shocking how many athletics tracks don't have tie down facilities for seated throwers. So many athletes are being excluded from competitions because of this, that can't be right or fair.

Surely something can be done about this - RT if you agree.
