@lori_ling McFadden et al didn't pick up the pattern bc they only had a few markers, which differentiated sola/elegantissima but not the elegantissima population structure
@lori_ling Not sure about the tuning switch associated with pop structure, I could imagine a few possible patterns, but if you are looking for local adaptive signatures of gene expression you might expect them in the south where rates of gene flow bt locations are lower.
