@matthew_d_green@inf_0_ Frankly, this paper is ridiculous. You cannot use a generator with period 1,048,577. Already at that time a period of less than 2^64 states was unacceptable. And any standard test suite would have killed the LCG on the spot. Marsaglia wrote about this in 1968.
@mnemo Uh mamma. Well. Digging through my email archives I found an email from 1998 from which it is clear that TurboBackup was written by Steffen Stempel and Martin Kopp. If you Google them TurboBackup + them you'll find references.
Read the interview from @seba_vigna, Milano University about the @H2020@FastenProject . "FASTEN tracks the problems in components down to the function, or method, which is the smallest syntactically recognizable unit of aggregation of code". https://t.co/RvRGfsAN2S #dependencies
@MiAirports Vi prego, dite a chi gestisce la form di login di ViaMilano di mettere dopo le credenziali LOGIN sopra e BACK sotto. Così com'è ora è assurdo... sbaglio ogni volta.
@JarvistFrost Easier: If uint64_t x contains 64 bits, do x = 0x3FFULL << 52 | x >> 12; return *((double *)&x) - 1.0; No multiplications!
