There is less than four hours left in the @fromthe108 tourney for today. I had a colonoscopy today and still voted. What's your excuse for not voting? #108tourney
@ethananderson The important part is not the length but that the point(s) of the sermon are given in an understandable, relevant, and practical way. Each preacher can do that differently.
@ethananderson My approach now for sermons is a 3-5 minute time with the kids followed by a 12-15 minute traditional sermon. I've been at services where the sermon was an hour and left me wanting more and some where a 5 minute sermon was way too long.
@catedunlap Thanks Cate! I've been a life long White Sox fan even though I was surrounded by fans of every other Midwestern team. My wife and I found the Episcopal Church about 20 years ago and the call to ordination happened for me so here I am. GoSox!
Been talking about our cancer crisis (actually sort of yelling) for some time. New bill filed today. We must tackle this crisis now - should have years ago. Not partisan - must be a priority for all Iowans. Thanks, @RobSandIA

There may be some folks who think that March Madness has not started yet, but it has! Head over to @fromthe108 and take part in the madness that is the #108tourney
Today I preached about hope. It may seem odd to talk about that when the Gospel was about John the Baptist telling people that they were a "brood of vipers". John calls for repentance. However, repentance leads to reconciliation. And reconciliation leads to hope. #Episcopal
