Chapman's Ice Cream has just done something EVERY Canadian should know.
The largest ice cream company in Canada used to source fruit and nuts from American suppliers — for some, for over 30 years. Then, Trump imposed a 25% tariff on Canadian products.
So, what did Chapman's do?
📷 They called Italy.
📷 They called Spain.
📷 They signed multi-year contracts with European suppliers.
And the vice president said it perfectly:
"Even if Trump wakes up smarter than yesterday, we're about to sign long-term deals with other countries — and the American companies that supply them will have nothing but their eyes to cry for."
Oh, and on top of ALL that? They're COLDing their prices so that the average Canadian doesn't have to spend a single cent more.
It's a family business. No shareholders. Just the Chapman family saying: "The least we can do is make sure Canadians still have the means to buy ice cream."
That's what Canadian pride looks like.
Next time you're at the grocery store — grab some Chapman's.
Every scoop of ice cream is a vote for Canada.
🇨🇦 🇺🇸 A quick reminder of how trade with Canada actually works. The agreement governing it is the USMCA, negotiated by Donald Trump himself in his first term and hailed by Donald Trump himself as the best trade deal ever made. Six years of carefully stacked arrangements, and all it took was one clumsy grab at 50% tariffs, plus a 1930 Depression-era law so obscure no president ever touched it, to bring the whole shelf down on his own head.
And for those who remember the original justification: fentanyl. Pouring across the northern border, apparently, despite less than one percent of American fentanyl seizures happening anywhere near Canada. The pretext was fiction, so it was quietly swapped for new fiction while the wreckage kept piling up. Canada, sensibly, is matching the tariffs dollar for dollar.
Strip away the optics and one motive remains: manufactured chaos designed purely to hurt Canada, made by a man who never understood what he was dismantling. Possibly because Mark Carney is smarter than him. And, let’s be honest, considerably better looking.

So Trump has picked a fight with the democratically-elected prime minister of Canada but calls the communist dictator of North Korea his friend.
Americans, Trumps foreign policy makes no sense! It’s completely irrational.
Do you even know why we are fighting with Canada?
Do you know what we get out of befriending the communist regime in North Korea?
I don’t know the answer to either of these questions.
I used to laugh at this shit, especially since this fucker STILL calls Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe," but this is a problem.
He can't make sound decisions half-asleep.
If you don't invoke the 25th Amendment for this, it should NEVER be invoked for ANYONE.
Donald Trump fell asleep on live tv for approximately forty seconds straight during a Monday afternoon Oval Office meeting, and all of it was captured on camera.
Biden never did this. https://t.co/Hyw8Z9DI2z
🚨Donald Trump has just
LOST consciousness behind
RFK in the Oval Office.
He is FAST ASLEEP.
This is absolutely embarrassing and tragic now. Where is Jake Tapper???
So let me get this straight.
Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom.
Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land.
Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan.
Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted.
And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?”
Please.
Dear @RepThomasMassie,
Please reveal every name in the #EpsteinFiles from the House floor. Read them into the Congressional Record. Force every corrupt abuser, billionaire, politician, and protected elite to face the light of truth. The American people are done watching predators hide behind power, money, and blackmail. You are a hero to every Epstein victim, and the American people. Thank you for your courage.

“Fifty-four years ago, in 1971, my grandmother Katharine Graham, publisher of The Washington Post, risked everything to stand up to a corrupt president. That president sought to destroy her newspaper’s autonomy. Today, faced with another such president, Jeff Bezos, the paper’s new owner, is tearing down the very newspaper she defended.”
Today, a judge has thrown out the Alberta separatist petition because Danielle Smith’s UCP government failed in its legal duty to consult First Nations.
I want to thank the fearless First Nations who stood up and led this fight against separatism – not just for their nations, but for all Albertans and for Canadians. Specifically, thank you to the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, the Blackfoot Confederacy, and Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, for fighting for our country with your time and money.
First Nations are not alone, as the vast majority of Albertans stand alongside them, opposed to a costly, divisive exercise. This referendum violates treaty rights, it would cost Albertans hundreds of millions of dollars, and is now tied to serious public safety concerns thanks to the largest data breach in Alberta’s history.
The Premier says that she’s exploring other ideas. Here’s an idea, Premier: call off the referendum and put this to bed. This petition is dead. This referendum is dead. For the premier to spend taxpayer time and money to resurrect it, would prove what we’ve always known: she’s a separatist.
Accept the court’s decision. Nobody is above the law – and certainly not this Premier.
Albertans are proud Canadians and want nothing more than to move on from this and focus on the things that really matter.
Right. Let’s really look at this.
Donald Trump, sitting somewhere in the White House at 12:26 on a Saturday afternoon, typing “Good, I’m glad he’s dead” about a man who had been dead for approximately four hours. Not in anger. In triumph. Gleeful, lowercase, tap-tap-tapping triumph.
Five likes. His post got FIVE likes.
Two ReTruths. On a platform he owns. That he built specifically so people would amplify his thoughts. And two people did. Two. One of them was probably him.
Then, a few months later, his wife materialises before the cameras looking deeply concerned about the state of American civility. Jimmy Kimmel, she says, is spreading hateful and violent rhetoric. Jimmy Kimmel. A man whose most aggressive act is wearing a suit slightly too tight for his shoulders.
This is the woman who married the man who typed “I’m glad he’s dead” and hit post before the family had even made it to the hospital. The same woman who has spent twenty years looking at her husband the way you look at a noise coming from inside the walls.
And the truly magnificent part? Nobody is rooting for either of them. Not really. His own supporters scrolled past that post. Her own staff have written books about her. Even the people who vote for him do it with the energy of a man choosing a car park.
That’s a cry for help.
