when a couple breaks up, don't listen to both sides. Just watch who gets a glow up and who jumps fast into a new relationship. Because people can tell me whatever story they want, but I'm watching the post breakup behavior. One person suddenly starts going to the gym, drinking water, reconnecting with friends, finding hobbies, reading books, learning a language, discovering inner peace. The other is dating someone 11 minutes later. And I'm not talking about just going out on dates, flirting here and there, you know, dressing your wounds up a little bit. That's normal, that's fine. I'm talking about a full relationship 2.5 weeks after telling your ex you're still in love with them and the funniest part is how predictable it all is. One person treats break up like physical therapy and the other treats it like a relay race. There's no gap whatsoever, just a clean handoff right away. I'm not saying it proves anything, I'm just saying if someone was supposedly devastated and then debuted a new relationship before even learned the breakup happened i'm going to have some questions. Okay, a lot of questions. Everybody says healing looks different for everyone, which I guess is true, but some people's healing looks suspiciously like having another person's Netflix password immediately. You got to take it easy.
