This should be the last election under First Past the Post. All voters should count equally, wherever you live and whoever you vote for.We need to @MakeVotesMatter now!If you agree, add your name too: https://t.co/WMpPg3FhYf
Please don't kill peaceful protesters for blocking your vehicle!
You don't have to stay calm, but assault is illegal.
Protesters don't like that they have to do this either.
But they are desperate because nothing really worked the past 40 years.

We've just reminded ourselves that causing death by dangerous driving results in a maximum of 11 points on a licence. Just can't compute that if your licence was clean before you killed someone, you'd still be allowed to drive.
@MattTurnerSheff Well, at least they *mention* active travel. But this doesn't sound like leadership from Sheffield Labour and won't persuade me to switch from a Green vote for now. Active travel is the most important local/city issue for me.
Yesterday's die-in was a peaceful and moving call to change the way roads are designed in Sheffield and a way to remember Adrian Lane, who lost his life just by riding his bike. Square the junction off and set a 20 mph limit city-wide.
Unpleasant, but in some ways appropriate, end to the โdie-inโ on Ringinglow Rd. Raging car driver attempts to drive through the people taking part, including children. Shows the level of motorist entitlement we are up against. Drivers were held up temporarily for the time takenโฆ
@bbc5live@_XavierBrice_@BBCSounds Yes, ban parking on pavements. And make the pavements wider while you're at it, which will involve making the carriageways narrower. Excellent. Lose one and make the road one way for vehicles. Pavements, and cities, are for people.
Heading home on Penistone Road after an inspiring #activetravel summit. @julie_grocutt told us 27% increase in cycling on this route. Today it's littered with pavement parked cars, presumably @sheffieldwed fans. @SheffCouncil surely this is unacceptable on a key cycling route?
On hold for 1 hour 20 minutes to @CertasBusiness to try and find out where a fuel delivery is for my 77 year old parents who have no oil and also no phone (the BT line got cut)
