@Movistar_Team@movistar_es@NATNAELTESFATS1 is the team’s top rider in UCI points, yet he still hasn’t been given the opportunity to race the Tour de France. Unbelievable decision by the team.
@henokmulubrhan@tourofoman@XDSAstanaTeam Well done, Mulie! Hopefully next you’ll set your sights on competing in higher-level races beyond events like the Tour of Rwanda with the national team, by concentrating in high level racings you will pave the way and set an example for the young generation Eritreans.
🚨 New report 🚨 Colombian mercenaries are part of the mass killings committed by the RSF in El Fasher, Sudan. But how are they connected to the United Arab Emirates?
Our new report reveals a piece of the puzzle. We’ve linked the UAE’s most senior bureaucrat to the businessman supplying Colombian mercenaries to the RSF militia in Sudan.
The longtime business relationship between the two men seems to indicate support for the militia at the highest levels of the UAE government.

@Addiskk@biniamb It’s good that you believe the kilil Afar have the right to secede by that logic, the Amhara and Tigray should also be allowed to do the same. As for Eritreans, no worries we already made our decision with 98.99% voting for independence.
With not enough UCI and non-UCI races in Africa anyway, having these clash is highly regrettable, and obviously avoidable.
With the new CAC President - Yao Allan Kouame - now in place for six months, it’s time be bold and we call on him to refresh the CAC Management Committee to include at least five of the top ten African cycling nations, who actually understand cycling properly.
Only one is currently on CAC’s ManCo: Morocco, who are Africa’s #6 ranked nation, and seven of the 10 nations on the ManCo have NO UCI points in 2025 whatsoever. This means they didn’t even run their own national championships…
Now @Kigali2025 has passed, and the African results - despite four years to prepare for a “home” event - were “ok” at best, it is vital that African cycling move forward with gusto and fresh energy.
With the current CAC ManCo almost entirely without top level cycling experience, things need to change.
Disruption is bold. Embrace it CAC!

@SheabiaForever 🤷🏾 well we might end up defending ourselves against their false accusations or even facing sanctions instead of being the ones to first call them out at the UN submit for thier war mongering and the rhetoric they’re spreading
@faustocoppi60 It’s disappointing to see such ignorant comments here. Sad how some people twist any good news from Africa. If there’s no discipline, they blame lack of democracy. If there’s discipline, they say it’s because there’s no democracy. No matter what, they can’t accept progress there!
@natzem@CyclingAfrica I hope he will soon become the federation’s president. With his international connections and first-hand understanding of the struggles young riders face in making the jump to professional cycling, he could help create more opportunities for the next generation.
@2bEritrean@Canconrad Sad to see an Eritrean still hopes to see a stable Ethiopia, when are we going to learn. Disintegrated Ethiopia is the solution for the region!
@cyclingfun2 Bini is naturally a puncher, much like Van der Poel, but they’re trying to mold him into a pure sprinter. As a result, he’s lost his climbing ability. The same goes for Henok he’s unsure whether he’s a climber or a sprinter and now seems stuck in between.
