A young learner from Hoërskool Die Burger has been reported missing, leaving her family, friends and school community desperately searching for answers.

Her mother is heartbroken and pleading for her daughter to come home safely. The family fears that Anishka may be under the influence of drugs and could be unable to find her way home on her own.

There are also growing concerns about her safety, particularly in the Newlands area.

According to people close to the situation, some young people who may have information about Anishka’s whereabouts are reportedly too afraid to speak out.

If you know something, please say something. Even the smallest piece of information could help bring this young learner home.

Anishka, wherever you are, please come home. Your mother is waiting for you. Your family is desperate to know that you are safe. ❤️😭

R12 MILLION RANDSOM DEMANDED FOR MISSING BANDILE MAKHUBO.

A grade 6 learner Bandile Makhubo is still missing since the 26 June 2026 after he was reportedly kidnapped from his grandmother's home in Palms Springs.

According to a family appeal the 12 year old hasn't been found. The kidnappers are allegedly demanding R12 million for his safe return.

The family has asked assistance from the public in locating him and donations to help him secure his release.
