I just want to tell all the kids out there who have no money for tablets and paints, and have no access to professionals or college and no idea what to do to achieve their goals. With only basic pencils and cheap printer white paper to practice on - do not under any circumstance stop trying.

Family city-break in Bologna. Not much chance of birding per se, but so far have caught up with Black Redstart, Serin and Hoopoe. Pallid and Common swifts absolutely everywhere. Fantastic city!

I fucking love being a dad, it's the best. For any other gents out there thinking it spells the end of your fun, it is the opposite, you now have a best bud to do all the silly shit you wish you could have done as a kid. It's the most freeing thing in the world.
