@McCainJack Truly is his best visually and honestly his adaptation of King Lear stands on its own. Masterfully written, directed, and produced. 12 out of 10.
@nstr_att It's the pollutant in the air currently from the wildfires. Mid-Atlantic is in severe condition. It's really nasty stuff and dangerous to the lungs
The players involved should be fined. Introducing political props onto the pitch violates FIFA rules. Considering this an active political issue in Argentina, promoting a political view on the pitch is not right. Of course FIFA will do nothing.
Giovani Lo Celso has brought out a banner saying ‘Las Malvinas son Argentinas’ — ‘The Malvinas are Argentine.’
He held it with Nicolas Otamendi and then briefly put it away before laying it out on the pitch at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Las Malvinas is the term used in Argentina for the Falkland Islands, a British dependency which lies about 300 miles (480 km) off the east coast of mainland Argentina.
In 1982, Argentina’s military government invaded in an attempt to take the territory from the United Kingdom. The conflict lasted from April 2 to June 14 and ended with an Argentine surrender. In all, three civilians, 255 British and 649 Argentine troops died.
The Athletic has contacted FIFA for comment.

Madame Celeste Amarilla,
- politics in fifa is not new, but this is wrong.
- Infantino is scum and a sycophant
- to maintain honor and spirit of sportsmanship, Balogun should not play, otherwise anything USMNT may achieve on Monday or should they advance will be seen as tainted.
My thoughts @USMNT:
- red card unfair, but this is not the way.
- Trump putting finger on scale to lift it is just disgusting and undignified, especially so as US is a host country (the last one in contention) in this world cup.

Alongside the film, enjoy a commentary featuring Fincher, cinematographer Harry Savides, Michael Douglas, and others; an hour’s worth of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and film-to-storyboard comparisons for four of the film’s major set pieces, with commentary; an alternate ending; and more!
Evening viewing recommendation? On the Criterion Channel, watch our edition of THE GAME (1997) — David Fincher's multilayered, noirish descent into one man’s personal hell. https://t.co/oTpiO94bLW
Seth Rogen says if you use AI to write your stories or scripts, then you “shouldn’t be a writer”:
“Every time I see a video on Instagram that’s like, ‘Hollywood is cooked,’ what follows is the most stupid dog sh*t I’ve ever seen in my life. And if your instinct is to use AI and not go through that process. You shouldn’t be a writer. Because you’re not writing.”

The working theory is that it would restart the 60-day War Powers countdown.
