Will the #LACharterSchools Industry support Laura Friedman again as she enters the race for the CA-30 seat currently held by Adam Schiff?

@maryann_ruegger @IPS_CC @MarkLatta11 You mean it's a #realestate scam? Seeing it first-hand in California. #charterschools routinely overpay for industrial property adjacent to toxic sites and get $$$ from the California State Financing Authority.
The community weighs in on why the “Improving #SpecialEducation Within The #LAUSD” resolution should be adopted. Have you added your voice?

Advocating for your child with #SpEd needs can be intimidating and knowing how the system works will prepare you better. These are things I wish I had known before my first IEP meeting. #ParentAdvocacy

@MaggieBMedia I would venture to guess they didn't fail to consider impact; they likely knew what it was going to be bad and generated an indefensible traffic report. DM if you want me to how you examples of how "reputable" traffic firms do this for #charterschools.
@EducationNews_b DM me if you want to learn how a #charterschool in California is using a 25-45 mph acceleration zone on a state highway for student drop-off and pick-up.
@EducationNews_b Extremely dangerous conditions. Parents double-park, children exit and/or enter cars on the driver's side, children jaywalk, etc. #Chartershools should be held responsible for #SafeRoutestoSchool (#SRTS). Take it to the State Education Department. City and School will do nothing.
@kramdas@NYCMayor If possible, check out the #traffic and #environmental reports that the #charterschools likely submitted in support of their school siting. These reports are usually required for planning department approvals. They are often wrong and cleverly designed to be confusing.
