We've just heard that Brian Trueman has died age 92. He will be most remember for his work at Cosgrove Hall, like Dangermouse, Count Duckula and Chorlton. In the 90s he helped with "Truckers" or Thomas the tank engine

@MrSteRobinson @TeacherTapp To be fair I do have a lot of student who do really well in computing because of this 🥰... but there are a few who really need the extra support a human offers.

Everywhere is short staffed so TAs only go to important subjects and we all know computing is not important.
Outside of education computers and digital devices are never used. 😂 and are so easy we never need help.

The fragility of life is so shocking. I’ve known Michael Mosley for many years - as a tv producer specialising in science and medicine. He was the executive producer of my 2009 series Human Journey. When he started presenting as well as producing, we made several science programmes together. And we met up at Hay Festival just 2 weeks ago. I can’t believe he’s gone.
My thoughts are with his bereaved family.
