The English department's comps symposium is tomorrow. We are very excited to be able to once again do the symposium in person. If you're around come by the Weitz tomorrow and check out the wonderful work our seniors did this year.
A great turnout at the excellent reading by Jaswinder Bolina last evening. We had booked Boliou 104 to allow for more spacing than in the Athenaeum and then it almost filled up. We have clearly all missed gathering in rooms together to listen to writers read from their work.
We are happy to say that the Jaswinder Bolina reading/talk that was cancelled due to snow in Feb is happening this evening. Despite the forecast rain, we hope to see many of you in Boliou 104 at 6 pm for what promises to be a very stimulating hour. A book signing will follow.
This was my advisor for my final dissertation (Christina Rossetti for the win) &she wrote a sentence in a recommendation that gave me the courage to apply for my first job in Manchester. These relationships matter so much. https://t.co/v0cycjOOQ1 @CarletonCollege@SecondLaird
