@CynicalPublius Another reminder: people who do these things are not doing it for other, identifiable, people. They are doing it strictly for themselves. Do-gooders make themselves feel good. It's their monument to their own egos. Let's call it the Elite's Ego Monument so there's no confusion.
@cule_1125@texasroadhouse Just so you know, bread is sugar. The carbs are immediately turned to sugar in the digestive process. Glucose number (how fast turns to sugar) of bread is actually higher than sugar itself. Yes, we like bread but it's so bad for us.
@Large_Farva2 Freddy did get a DM from Nick Adams, Dept. of State, Special Envoy for Tourism. We're still waiting to discover what that is about. Nick speaks German, btw. @FreddyLA7
@SkylarSkye3 far too much eating & snacking happens in our cars. I don't know what people think is going to happen on the road that requires more eating. Did you notice we're fat?
@ArtifexMemor You have a point, I surely can't afford a trip. Been a bit into pondering lately how we'll lower our electrical usage as rates double. How many days will food stay safe if fridge & freezer only on 12 hours instead of 24. Everything else off, tv died months ago.
@BangkokSkyRain Last thing I want is soggy crackers. If I feel like eating them between soup bites I do but never put them in the soup. What would be the end goal?
@SkylarSkye3 I assume you're in the gambling district? Outside of that there are homes with backyard pools and people living normal lives. Used to date a guy who had 2 aunts that lived there and we all visited once. They don't have lawns but otherwise normal residence area.
