Sen. Francis Escudero and at least three other senators were supposedly prepared to abandon the Senate majority bloc and join the camp of former Senate President Vicente Sotto III in a fresh leadership realignment aimed at unseating Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano from the chamber’s top post.

Remulla said subpoenas will be issued as early as next week against everyone present during and before the gunfire incident at the Senate, including members of the Senate, DILG, PNP, and NBI.
He is also requesting affidavits from members of the media who covered the incident.
According to Remulla, those behind the gunfire incident and those who allegedly helped Dela Rosa escape could face charges of obstruction of justice, failure to maintain public order and safety, aiding and abetting a criminal or fugitive from justice, and gross neglect of duty. | via @KaxandraSalonga

🚨 BREAKING NEWS:
Magnificent Five Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Risa Hontiveros, and Bam Aquino introduced and filed a resolution URGING BATO DELA ROSA to voluntarily surrender.
The Resolution cites the previous examples of voluntary surrender and judicial submission by Juan Ponce Enrile, Leila De Lima, and Sonny Trillanes. (This belies Cayetano’s false claims).
It also cites that the parliamentary immunity and privilege from arrest is LIMITED to offenses punishable by not more than six (6) years of imprisonment.
Sulit ang boto ko sa mga Senador na eto!
SUMUKO KA NA BATO DELA ROSA. 👊
