Finally caved into social media. Worked in education law and education for two decades. Dedicated to highlighting sexual abuse, wrongdoing and poor practice!
in order to keep her quiet. Behind the scenes the university not only failed to look into the issue properly but worked to smear her name if anyone should come looking and investigate. The toll this has taken on this person has been immeasurable and @CanterburyCCUni do not care
#alevels2021 on a day that is hopefully joyous, please think carefully about your next step. I urge you to avoid @CanterburyCCUni. This is a university that allowed a senior lecturer in the performing arts department to sexually assault a young woman and then threaten her future
What about sexual assault @CanterburyCCUni is that ok? Works the same way as racism. It is NEVER ok and it is never the fault of the person experiencing it. But YOU have ruined my friends life for making it ok and blaming them and discrediting them!
Racism is never OK and it is never the fault of the person experiencing it. It is crucial that we all work together to tackle racism and promote racial equality.

I strongly urge no one to take up a place here. An institution that condones sexual assault and sexual abuse. Go up the road to @UniKent, much better experience.
Planning to study here this September? Come and visit our Canterbury campus in real life! We're excited to show you around.

This is a blow not just to Bill Crosbyโs victims but to all women who stand up to their harassers. Time and again women are dismissed and belittled; to be told even after sentencing that the crime was not a crime is a double whammy. The law should work for women.
Absolutely. @CanterburyCCUni you allowed allegations against various staff members including a senior respected performing arts lecturer to be dismissed but in many cases you sought to destroy the victims and ruin their lives! Money is more important. You have no moral compass!
Next time someone cleverly asks "But has #MeToo gone TOO FAR NOW?" remind them that 60 women came forward with credible allegations against #BillCosby and then this happened. I would say that in too many ways, #MeToo hasn't gone far enough.
"This is a blow not just to Bill Cosbyโs victims, but to all women who stand up to their persecutors. Time and again women who are victimized are dismissed and belittled. To be told even after sentencing that Cosbyโs crimes were not crimes is an outrage. "

I am back! I had received so many abusive messages from fake accounts over sexual assault @CanterburyCCUni. It is actually sickening. My friend was assaulted by a senior performing arts lecturer, he destroys her work and then has the audacity to threaten her career and

@CanterburyCCUni To make this right, @CanterburyCCUni need to be accountable by issuing a open and full apology, a full review in their procedures & practices moving forward and the victim being given the right degree classification that she should have got. If not the name and shame continues
Can @CanterburyCCUni explain why they continue to ignore an issue as serious as sexual assault? Robert Melville, assistant university secretary, can you explain your gaslighting a victim by further intimidation and bullying? Aldo Maugeri
Information Governance Manager why did
@CanterburyCCUni As per usual, you are dodging the actual issue. You full of more lies. The victim has repeatedly asked for your help with the sexual assault issue who when Mr Melville dealt with it told her the university would not longer engage on the matter.
Change the SAR password so quickly after issuing it? Why have you repeatedly ignored requests to update the password so the victim can have access? If this university was so transparent they would not need to behave so appallingly and try and cover their tracks.
