Palestine is still going through a genocide and I barely see anyone talking about them. Cuba is still facing a severe socioeconomic and humanitarian crisis. Sudan is still facing a severe civil war. 1.6k+ people have been killed due to Ebola. Speak up about them.

I just checked who covered the historic mass funeral of 112 Palestinians in Gaza killed by Israel.
CNN? Nowhere.
MSNBC? Silent.
Fox News? Crickets.
BBC? Radio silence.
112 bodies. One mass funeral. Zero Western media coverage.
Journalism didnโt die. It just decided some mass funerals arenโt newsworthy.
A fetus in the rubble. Their bombs incinerate mothers with babies in their wombs. Remember the โ40 beheaded babiesโ and โbabies in ovensโ lie? This is what they do every single day, even after the โceasefireโ.
They are all our children. Look what weโve allowed happen to them.
The genocidal apartheid regime are doing it and the โWestโ are their cheerleaders.
And our silence permits it.
โThis is one of the largest funerals in the history of the Palestinian cause. Today, 112 martyrs will be be buried in the soil of Gaza. Talk about us. Raise your voices. Donโt let these scenes pass unnoticed on your phones.โ

Palestine is still going through a genocide and a severe humanitarian crisis. Cuba is still facing a severe humanitarian crisis and energy crisis. Sudan is still facing the worldโs most severe humanitarian crisis. 1.5k+ people have been killed by Ebola in Congo. Speak up.
For those who don't know, Gaza today bids farewell to 112 innocent martyrs, most of them children and women, in what is considered the largest funeral in human history.
Today makes it a week since my mom passed away. I humbly ask you guys to remember her in your prayers, that Allah FORGIVES her shortcomings , grants her PEACE in the grave, expands & illuminates her grave, & admits her into Al-Jannah Firdaus. Pls๐๐พ help me keep her in your duas๐ค
Kindness to your spouse is not a gesture of personality or a reflection of mood; it is an act of ฤซmฤn, and it is a duty that ties you directly to your consciousness of Allah. Taqwa.
Youโre not kind because they deserve it every moment, nor are you merciful because they are flawless. You are kind because Allah created them, and in your gentleness towards them, you honor the Creator who fashioned their soul and yours.
Too often, people view marriage as a transaction of emotions: โIโll be kind if you are,โ or โIโll respect you when/if you earn it.โ And thatโs not how Islam frames companionship. Your spouse isnโt a mirror of your temperament; theyโre a trust from Allah jalla wa โalฤ. They're a test, a comfort, and sometimes a mirror that reflects your own patience and sincerity.
The Nabiyy (Peace Be Upon Him) said, โThe best of you are those who are best to their wives, and I am the best of you to my wives.โ The standard of goodness isn't ever completely measured by how one prays, preaches, or commands respect, but by how one treats the person closest to themโthe one who sees their flaws, their moods, their exhaustion, and their true self.
To show mercy when you could assert dominance; to choose silence over retaliation; to forgive when youโve been wronged...don't see these as acts of weakness. And it is particularly necessary that men, especially, understand this. These...these are reflections, signs of of taqwa and character.
You honor your spouse not because the world demands it, but because Allah does. And when you withhold kindness, you are not withholding it from them; you are withholding it from yourself to be better, and from your own scale of deeds to be heavier. Sometimes, sometimes, really, you just have to ask yourself what matters.
And honestly, at the end of the day, love fades, beauty changes, emotions fluctuate, but the consciousness that this person standing before you is Allahโs creation should never waver. If nothing else, be kind for that reason aloneโbecause wallah, that is taqwa.
And when you treat them with mercy, when you do right by them, youโre not just doing right by them by your standards; youโre doing right by the One who created themโby His standards.
May Allah make us better.
If I ever get buried and the bugs are eating me, I expect that when they reach my stomach, they will meet resistance.
The butterflies I grew when we first spoke will still defend their home. I imagine the worms baffled, outnumbered by wings made of memory.
