Freelancers in Africa lose money three ways:

โ Platform fees eating 10-20%+ of every job

Just wrapped Episode 16 of the Programmable Money Bootcamp on @arc โ CCTP vs. Gateway, and honestly? This one changed how I'm thinking about @secureflow_xyz entirely.
Here's what's happening next ๐
For context โ SecureFlow is an escrow and milestone payment protocol built on Arc. Clients lock funds, freelancers deliver work, milestones get approved and paid out. Clean and simple.
But there's been one friction point I've been sitting on: what if your client's USDC isn't on Arc? What if a freelancer wants their payout on a different chain?
Today's lecture answered both questions โ and then some.
Adding CCTP to SecureFlow:
Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol means a client on Ethereum, Base, or Arbitrum can fund an escrow on SecureFlow without ever manually bridging. Their USDC burns on their chain, mints natively on Arc, and the escrow is live โ in seconds.
No wrapped tokens. No bridge risk. Native USDC, end to end.
For a freelance payment protocol, this is massive. It means SecureFlow isn't an "Arc-only app" anymore โ it becomes accessible from 11+ chains while still settling on Arc. Builders, clients, and freelancers from across the ecosystem can just... use it.
Adding Circle Gateway to SecureFlow:
This one hit different.
Gateway gives every user a unified USDC balance โ chain-abstracted, instant, and gas-free. Under 500ms. And it supports payments as small as $0.000001.
What does that unlock for SecureFlow?
โ Gas-free milestone payouts โ freelancers stop losing a percentage of every payment to gas fees. This matters especially in markets like Nigeria where small payments get eaten alive by fees.
โ Micro-milestones โ instead of one big payout at the end, Gateway makes it possible to pay per task, per hour, or per deliverable. Real-time work, real-time pay.
