Usaha mereka membangunkan pelbagai bentuk tenaga boleh baharu pastinya akan menyokong pencapaian salah satu misi di bawah Pelan Induk Perindustrian Baharu (#NIMP2030) untuk menyahkarbon sektor pembuatan negara bagi mencapai pelepasan sifar bersih seawal 2050.

Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz led a delegation to visit the PETROS Multifuel Station Darul Hana, which is built and operated by 𝗦𝗘𝗗𝗖 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 (𝗦𝗘𝗗𝗖𝗘). It is the first station in the region to provide EV charging and H2 dispensing, aside from the conventional fuels. The station also has the capability to produce 150kg of H2 daily through water electrolysis using the Proton Exchange Membrane (#PEM) Electrolyser operated by LestariH2Gaas Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS. KUCHING (July 29, 2024): Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz led a delegation to visit the PETROS Multifuel Station Darul Hana today.

PETROS Multifuel Station (MFS) is fully developed and operated by SEDC Energy (#SEDCE), a subsidiary of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation. It is the first station in the region to provide EV charging and H2 dispensing, aside from the conventional fuels.

PETROS MFS Darul Hana also has the capability to produce 150kg of H2 daily through water electrolysis using the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Electrolyser operated by LestariH2Gaas Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS. LestariH2Gaas is also a partner of SEDCE for the assembly and distribution of electrolyser stacks and its Balance of Plant (BOP) system.

The first commissioning H2 refuelling at Darul Hana H2 Plant was in November 2022, while the second was in May 2024. The H2 plant is currently undergoing upgrading work onsite pending full commissioning.

The H2 production will be used to support the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) fleet in Kuching, where FIVE (5) units of Toyota Mirais owned by SEDCE for government use and two other Hyundai Nexo FCEV vehicle owned by Sarawak Energy.

Currently there are two smaller fully operational MFS in Daro and Kanowit, while MJC- Batu Kawa which is currently under construction is expected to be operational by Q1 next year.
