@lamide_nova This is the right framing. Most points in crypto are just a number that means nothing the moment the campaign ends. RLPs actually do something while you hold them
Most points systems in crypto are just a leaderboard... RLPs aren't that. They're already wired into the parts of Rally that actually cost something to use, which is the difference between a points system and an economy.
Here's the part that's easy to miss: RLPs aren't waiting for a future use case to justify them. Right now, today, they cover gas on Rally so creators aren't blocked by fees just to participate. They unlock access into campaigns, several of which are live across the 15+ running right now. They convert toward USDC and perks. And they're one of the requirements feeding into things like the Wingston whitelist.
That's four live utilities stacked on one token, not a roadmap promise.
The network effect angle is the part people underrate. With 500k+ RLPs already circulating and more creators onboarding through GenLayer's decentralized adjudication backing the protocol, every new campaign and every new creator increases what an RLP can actually be used for. The token doesn't sit still, it gets more useful as the ecosystem gets busier, which is the opposite of how most reward points behave once the hype around them fades.
For a creator, that's the real incentive. You're not farming a number that resets in value the moment attention moves elsewhere. You're holding something that's tied to gas, access, and whitelists today, and gets stronger every time someone else joins.
Rally even hands out 200 free RLPs to get started. The real test isn't claiming them, it's whether you actually put them to work.

Most exclusive Web3 communities are just a Discord with extra roles and the same noise as everywhere else. Wingston's VIP layer is built differently, it actually restricts based on something real: holding the NFT, not clicking a join button.
@RallyOnChain laid this out clearly
Here's what that token gate actually unlocks for holders:
1. Access to exclusive campaigns that never get posted publicly, meaning less competition and a real shot at standing out
2. Early updates before anything goes live elsewhere, so you're acting while everyone else is still finding out
3. Whitelist opportunities for future drops, stacking advantages instead of starting from zero every time
4. RLP benefits tied directly to being in the room, not just holding the asset and waiting
What makes this different from a typical VIP tag is that it's earned by ownership, verified onchain, and impossible to fake your way into. No applications, no vouching, no gatekeepers deciding who's in. You either hold Wingston or you don't.
For creators, that second point matters most. Early access to campaign info before the wider market reacts is the kind of edge that's usually reserved for insiders. Here it's just part of holding the NFT.
What would you actually want first: the early campaign intel, or the whitelist priority?

@lamide_nova Honestly thought this was going to be another utility coming soon situation. Checked the staking, checked the Score boost. It's live. Already working. Rare.
Most NFTs ask you to bet on vibes. Wingston actually hands you a job on day one.
I mint it, I stake it for daily RLP rewards, and my Rally Score gets a permanent boost, meaning every move I make on the platform compounds from that point forward.
That's not a roadmap promise. That's the product working as intended on day one.
@RallyOnChain built this as a product NFT, which is a term that didn't mean much to me until I actually looked at what holding Wingston does inside the ecosystem. It's not decorative. It's infrastructure for creators who are already active.
And the mint is free.
I keep trying to find the catch. The art is legitimately good. The utility is live. The community isn't manufactured, it's the same people actually using Rally day to day. So what exactly is the excuse?
