@FeistyLibLady@sawyer_kat18846 I have less and less sympathy for Trump voters being dragged down by his policies.
He told them what he was going to do, and frankly, kept most of his promises.
They are in the mess they are in because they couldnโt vote for a Black woman over a demented old criminal.
Trump held an agriculture roundtable meeting with farmers in Wisconsin yesterday.
The purpose was to raise the morale of farmers with new promises he will break as usual.
This is what Trump told them.
"I don't need this. I got elected. What the hell do I have to be here for?"
Well, if farmers haven't given up on him yet that statement should have given them a wake-up call.

๐จBREAKING: DHS is trying to defend conditions inside ICE detention facilities, by pointing to abuses in state prisons.
And thatโs an admission of guilt.
The same complaints being raised about our prison system, are being raised about ICE detention facilitiesโฆ overcrowding, poor conditions, lack of accountability, abuse allegations, inadequate medical care.
And instead of addressing those concerns, DHS is saying, โWell, look how bad prisons are.โ
Whichโฆ Exactly.
Our prison system has serious problems that need reformโฆ and ICE detention facilities arenโt some separate category.
They ARE prisons.
Many of them run by the same for-profit prison contractors that have turned mass incarceration into a business model.
So, why would anyoneโs response be to expand that systemโฆ but with less transparency and oversight?
And thereโs a major difference between ICE facilities and normal prisons that DHS doesnโt want to talk aboutโฆ
Most people in ICE detention are not serving criminal sentences.
Many have pending immigration cases, and would not normally be locked up at all (including CHILDREN).
But they are now. Because these facilities are run by private prison companies that PROFIT from keeping beds full.
So, comparing ICE facilities to prisons isnโt the defense DHS thinks it is.
Itโs an acknowledgment that weโre applying many of the same failed conditions and practices, to people (INCLUDING CHILDREN) who arenโt even serving criminal sentences, and shouldnโt even be there.
And when people raise concerns, DHS wants to change the subject and point somewhere else?
If your response to criticism is always, โLook over there!โ youโre not looking to solve the problem.
Youโre trying to distract from it.
The Trump admin was planning to force out nearly 3 million immigrants - incl. citizens & Green Card holders - by falsely declaring them dead, but this whistleblower refused to do it. You can imagine they would have cast the net wider if this worked out for them.
Intentionally falsifying a federal record to declare living people as dead is a federal crime โ Trump and DOGE tried to do that to 2.7 million people.
A whistleblower reports that the Trump admin planned to classify 2.7M living people as dead, nullifying their Social Security numbers, to force them out of the country.
