@PhasmidASMR I ask because I come from a prose-based background in writing, script writing is a fairly new artform for me so any advice or guidance is gratefully received, I want to make it easier for performers, especially since I added several scripts to your request form!
@PhasmidASMR Genuine question, since I have previously submitted several scripts, when I am writing dialogue, its my instinct in the sentence to add emphasis & action as it unfolds. Is there a better format? Eg, breaking up the dialogue line action by action?
@anthnaisbitt @Suffragent_ I am replying genuinely here and not taking the mick, but they did, Egypt is in Africa, the stonework of Great Zimbabwe is still standing, the Benin Bronzes are works of art. The great Library of Timbuktu was a wonder. Different cultures in Africa built a hell of a lot.
Cool. Now you are richer than even Mansa Musa ever was, world hunger, vaccine research, plus research into all forms of cancer and degenerative illnesses as well as solving the looming climate crisis should be pocket change. Tick tock @elonmusk there's nothing to stop you now.
@ScarredForLife2 I see this and I am IMMEDIATELY transported back to my childhood! The first two were on the Doctor Who WHS tapes I had, the 3rd was on the 'Doctor Who: Destiny of the Doctors' PC CD-ROM game and the final one was on the brad new released 'The Ice Warriors' VHS pack!
Well, I suppose that's one way to avoid admitting climate change is happening & the USA should actually be doing something about it.
Tump administration to remove 900 deep sea monitoring instruments that would have studied the collapsing Atlantic current https://t.co/pqfgK54inM
@Kryfold_Sky@fesshole They are, but when there is no support at home it makes things 10x harder. Most of my secondary school students cannot read an analogue clock, so as well as trying to teach the concepts of significance, source & interpretation analysis I am also explaining how to tell the time.
@becksrich83 I've never heard anything like it! It was almost painfully loud, had it been in any other context I would have assumed something had detonated.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL storm just passing over Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Biblical rain, night to day lightning and thunder so loud it's like it's trying to shatter the earth below! #Storm#Nuneaton#Warwickshire
@Met4CastUK It was loud enough to set off car alarms and trigger motion sensor lights! Proper 'heart-leaping-into-throat' volume, the lightning turned night to day and it rained like the wrath of God too!
@Met4CastUK I'm currently in Nuneaton and we've had thunder and lightning loud enough to shake the house! I have never heard such deafening thunder before! (Hits about 10sec into video!)
@80s_Kidz We used to take it in turns to read it to scare each other at free-reading time in year 2! The pictures were impressively unsettling for a year 7 I seem to recall!
@FlowerdewBob First thing that struck me-how have the apples not rotted?!
This feels like an extended '5 minute hacks' video where they show you how to cultivate a seed and the results are actually a completely different plant!
For I was hungry, and you voted against the school lunch program that provided me my only meal of the day, I was thirsty and you voted against clean water legislation, a stranger and you voted to lock me in a cage at an I.C.E. concentration camp at the border.
@Met4CastUK Aww boo. βΉοΈ I started following you over this past winter and your forecasts were genuinely helpful and insightful. I'm sorry you're stopping but you're absolutely right, when a hobby is no longer fun it's time to stop. I wish you well in all your future adventures!
@fakehistoryhunt Ice Cream maker of the late 1800s/early 1900s I think, I vaguely remember Antonia the kitchen maid using it on Edwardian Country House when I was a kid!
