This is how pedestrians walk near silk board. These r tax payers who have to walk from silk board metro to bus stop battling garbage, traffic, constructions and dust. Night it's worse as it's dark. Have some shame @GBA_office. Think pedestrians first.

Abhijeet Dipke, who authorised you to enter government schools and conduct “audits”? What legal authority do you have? Question the government. Protest peacefully. But don’t barge into public institutions, film officials and behave as though you possess powers the law never gave you. And keep schoolchildren away from political activism. Influencing young minds for political battles crosses a dangerous line.
Accountability applies to activists too.
@seegerblues We never asked water tankers to stop, great move by those in power to suppress voices, the moment people demand justice, this how they respond! How is the constitution even protecting us from the tyranny of state??

Now things are escalating in #Ananthnagar!. This is apparently of tanker association protest for not letting them inside the congested and obviously bad roads by the poolice following the protest by local people here after the death of #MedhaAkarsh. This is criminal behaviour.
The tanker mafia is showing off what they can do. When they do this, the roads become slippery — the same condition which lead to accidents. Secondly, it is criminal waste of water. @jagadishsrcpi@dpkBopanna@krishnabgowda
Bribe for 20% sun film on the car window. Bribe for passport verification Bribe for registering a property — a purchase made possible by running between pillars and posts inside SBI loan branch in Koramangala and saving last pennies earned from coporate bonded slavery! #Bengaluru
Road tax+Property Tax (More than what BBMP residents pay annually)+BRIBES (For ekhata, for changing name in the electricity bills, don't even ask what the police does to you if you have run-in with law.) We live a slave's life in Bengaluru!
Don't know how people live here inspite of paying hefty land prices + transaction charges+ property taxes + RTO charges +,
Whatever projects we see in tenders are yet to be executed!
Either MLA is incapable or he is asking beek from contractors & contractors not willing to work
There is an ongoing confusion. Or is it created confusion. The demand of #electronicscity people is for good roads and immediate repair of #badroads. #Karnataka#bengaluru. The issue is now slowly drifting in another direction.
Hello @SantoshSLadINC sir,
As you know, following the death of Medha Akarsh due to poor road conditions in Hebbagodi, a group of local, concerned citizens had come together for a peaceful spontaneous protest demanding accountability from concerned officials.
It was truly a peaceful protest with some slogans, and now as per multiple reports, the Hebbagodi Police Station is contacting common citizens who participated in that protest and are threatening them with punitive actions only because they dared to raise their voices in the wake of a young woman's death.
Why should FIRs be filed against common citizens for simply raising their voices? Article 19 of the Indian constitution specifically grants citizens the right to protest.
I am aware that due to the Licensing and Regulation of Protests, Demonstrations and Protest Marches (Bengaluru City) Order, 2021, protests in Bengaluru City are restricted to Freedom Park only, but Hebbagodi comes under the Hebbagodi City Municipal Council and not under any limit that could be considered as "Bangalore City"
So these actions of @HebbagodiPS to threaten and punish common citizens for protesting are unconstitutional, undemocratic, and have absolutely no legal basis whatsoever.
I request your intervention in this, and also the attention of @DCP_ECITY and @BlrCityPolice to stop the harassment of citizens with immediate effect
I implore you to instead redirect the focus and might of our police force into investigating the circumstances leading to Medha's death so that all those culpable and responsible can be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

@seegerblues Jail road from Sarjapur Road to Electronic City, Hosa road within a year of work already has potholes broken part some almost as deep as 8 to 10 inches . Two wheelers, cars all struggle to pass through and get in close proximity to each other tractors, trucks. Very risky.
It's been a little more than 24 hours since she passed away. She had a fatal accident at a place called Ananthnagar, Bengaluru, which is less than a Kilometer from my place.
SHE DIED OUT OF NEGLIGENCE. Not by her, but by many others.
In this entire surrounding area, there is nothing called a road. Everything is dug up: huge pits, a sloshy, muddy pathway when rains have made it impossible to walk and live.
Kids take their lives in their hands when they have to go to school or return. The same conditions for parents, old grandparents. Everyone who lives in Kammasandra, Bommansandra, and Ananthnagaer areas is aware that they will either get injured or have a fatal fate anytime.
A mom of a 3-year-old, a wife, daughter died out of nothing... other than the corruption and negligence.
We don't deserve to live like this or die like this in this country. We absolutely don't. We are not asking for things for free. We pay for everything, every second, expecting at least the basic needs to be fulfilled... and the authorities fail us every time.
I do not usually write any posts like this, or indulge in the never-ending political loops... but what is happening here is absolutely cruel, horrible, and inhuman.
Rest in Peace, Medha.
@ndtv@dpkBopanna@BrindaAdige More details of protests. CMC officials said , it will take 3 years to complete the road digging work and they don't have jelly and concrete to finish the road after digging. No alternate roads planned or improved. Fruit Market - Ebenezer Road is totally broken since last 5 yrs.
